grant, I'm 60 and I feel the same way. I'm so glad he sang this, because I had never heard it before and hadn't heard of Brandi Carlile, but now I have some of her music on my ipod. Beni seems to be such a good person with a heart of gold and an old soul. Most 14 year olds aren't like that, and that makes him so special in my heart. That song spoke to me so much, taking me back to childhood getting bullied, etc. Brandi grew up with nothing and was bullied as well. If you watch her performance at the Grammy's, it's easy to see how happy she is that those bullies probably will never reach the level she has in life.

I have cancer and one time during treatment, I had a breakdown and didn’t want to leave my bed. The nurse brought the psychologist in the a few days later and she got me to fight again. It was very hard to find a purpose to fight but I did it. You see, I have a dream of when my cancer is cured and I can return to a life with sports and school and hair on my head. So listen up cancer, even if I'm not strong enough to beat you, well it’s not 1 against 1. It’s a very large team against 1, you. And what reinforcements do you have? “I’m dreaming of another life. I’m dreaming and I dare to fly. I’m dreaming that I could touch the sky. Don’t tell me that I can’t. That I’ll lose like it’s your demand. I’m on the edge about to take the leap. Here goes nothing.” Every line Beni sings about someone trying to break him is like the cancer in my ear saying give up. And every line he sings about dreaming is me telling the cancer no way, I’m doing what I want, not what you want. And I wanna live. Not just survive cancer but actually live. Hang out at the mall and go to hockey games and vacation. And of course, sit on the couch on Tuesday nights with my sisters and cheer on Beni in AGT! Hope you win!

FYI: He says "I'm dreaming and I dare to fly" at first. Then next time he says "I'm dreaming and I'm here to fly". Beautiful words. I'm almost 50. A country boy from Missouri. Being a disabled veteran with PTSD it's difficult to have inspiration in life. But when I listen to this song, for a moment i dream about times in my life when I was happy and felt like I was flying. Although that was another time and another life, to be happy now if it's only for a couple minutes all I have to do is listen to this song. Thank you. I mean that.

Benicio is nothing short of a Super Star, i have been following him since he was on The Voice Kids Germany last year . Where he came runner up but really left a major impact on all the judges & the audience. Good natured young man with his head on his shoulders. @@prada7775 There are several, but I don't mean to be criticizing the person who put them up. Before he sings, it's on the screen "Here GO nothing" rather than "here GOES nothing". At 1:16 it could just be diction, but it sounds like he's singing "here goes NOTHIN...IANN" rather than "here goes nothing yeah", at 1:49 it should be "I'm dreaming and I'm here to fly" rather than "I'm dreaming and I dare to fly". At 2:19 it sounds the same as it did at 1:16 where he just puts emphasis on "nothin...ian" without the "yeah" after it although it could be either way. I'm not trying to put down whoever did the lyrics, I'm glad for them, that's the only reason I heard a few things differently. Until I saw them on the screen, there were a bunch that I wasn't sure about and now I am. So no offense is intended.
