Some muslims make islam look so strict and uptight and i do not view like that at all. There's nothing wrong with this video and having a lil fun and laugh in life. Lighten up people ... Allah does not forbid us from having fun and laughing and dancing in the manner that these women are.

It's getting tiring sharing this beautiful religion with the wahhabis/salafis/haram police/whatever you want to call them. They think they have a monopoly over the truth, what's right and wrong and are quick to judge things based on their own limited knowledge. People have a weird understanding of life and how humans are expected to behave. Islam is nuanced and open to interpretation in many aspects. I'm sure there will be many scholars who will like this video and say it is a good thing for Muslims. If you don't like it, don't watch it. But leave the vast majority of people who are watching it in peace. And God knows best.

All the haters from the ummah here forget what Da'wah stands for. It means to invite. And to invite means being OPEN to others. The reason why Islam was able to spread and bring in converts in the past was because Islam is accepting of cultures, and not being a stick-in-the-ass butthurt holier-than-thou religion that hates on every aspect of life it does not agree with. 'ohhh jeans is non-Islamic. ooooh this music is non-Islamic'. Go back to the bloody desert then? Unfortunately most of Muslim society, just like the rest of mankind, has moved on with the times, and are living with the creative input (like music) which is produced by non-Muslims. And please, everything exists because god wills it, unless you think everything western is not willed by god. And btw, THIS video IS da'wah, just like how being a kind person and being open enough to accept other peoples' cultures is a form of da'wah. Who the hell is going to accept Islam if all we're going to do is going around saying "this is not halal that is not halal. this is haram etc.". Oh please, so as long as you have God in your heart, and you are not violating the main tenets of the faith, who cares whether these people are making a video expressing happiness? You assholes living in non-British parts of the world cannot understand the feeling of being a minority in a non-Muslim country like the UK. They made this video in part to assure their surrounding community of their peacefulness, and to dis-spell peoples' irrational fears of Islam (which has in recent times reached insane heights), and all you do is act holier than thou. Yea, keep it up with your raving 'im holier than you' rhetoric and attitude. I'm sure that will attract more people to want to learn Islam, and change their mindset about us. And God knows best.

I like it a very realistic view of the Islam now a days. People are happy with their religion and do dance so if for ones little young girls, married couples, men and kids do it on video good for them. I think it's very beautiful. They weren't trying to make a true muslim life centric video. They were trying to include every type of muslim from the good to the not so good (spiritual wise) and potray all of us as just on big family. We're not perfect. This video is about muslims not islam and that's what we're are, not perfect but if you watch it again. The ones who really cover are only recorded from above the hips so as not to reveal anything which is a wonderful display of privacy. And there's nothing really inappropriate. Just some silly jumping and waving done in a way that made them look like dancing (yes I am taking a jab at the silly way they danced 😊 but not seriously, just jokingly and in no way that demeans them). All in all it was a beautiful video just about being happy and how yeah muslims are happy. Islam makes us happy. We're humans to. Go figure ☺

Oh this made my day! So happy to see real, everyday folks. Guys, those of you questioning the flailing arms and legs (ie dancing), why are you not pointing fingers at the dancing men? Up in arms at this pre-historic boys-club hypocrisy really! Stop trying to dictate what women are supposed to do, it's embarassing. If we want to tap toes and wave arms, we will. Look the other way or lock yourselves in your home, stop watching You Tube, TV, films, reading comic books or going to the theatre. Just stop doing anything in general. Let the rest of us be happy!

Every person here complaining about the woman wearing tight clothing, or not wearing a hijab are doing this as a justification for their sexism, and to give themselves a sense of superiority, shall I prove this? Not once have I seen a post where they criticize women, where they've also criticized the men for not wearing loose clothing and shaving their beards. Which men 'should' do just as much as women. I hope atleast one of these people has enough self honesty to take a look inside and realise why they are saying what they're saying...but I guess that'd be too much to hope for.

I like the message - the video, not so much. Not pointing any fingers but: The Ummah doesn't have to act like Disbelievers to break stereotypes. I almost felt ashamed throughout the video. There is absolutely zero reason to act like this in order to convey the message of Islam in a peaceful manner and eredicate stereotypes. Contradicting our beliefs and conveying a message do not have to conflict with eachother. May Allah(SWT) guide us all. Peace
