I can't imagine how bad the carpel tunnel syndrome can be with that damn bracelet

I would be more worried about something the backpack scratching up the laptop. The bracelet is an example of how easy it scratches. I definitely will make sure to elaborate next time. Thank you for the feedback back.

Who would have guessed that if you rub metal on metal it will scratch the metal? I wouldnt say its dumb, but its a bit obvious and I dont really understand why you are surprised by that. The exact same thing will happen with the silver MacBook, the scratches will just be a little less visible. This laptop is not made out of titanium, otherwise it would cost like 3k more.

hi Ben, i’ve been looking to get the macbook pro too i just wanted to ask about your experience on the space black color? how does it hold up against smudges and fingerprints? did you do any research regarding it? ive been contemplating a bit too much and i honestly dont know which one to get still ive heard a lot of people return their space black to get the silver one and that silver lasts better overtime since its the actual color of the aluminium meanwhile the space black is a coating and it wears off at the palm rests and just fades off unevenly overtime. It def looks better than silver but longevity is questionable. What are your thoughts?
@thebenburns17 күн бұрын
Hey that's a good question. I did a lot of research before getting mine too. The silver color defiantly ages better than the space black and because of the lighter color, it doesn't show the finger prints and wearing points that you made. Because I already had a lighter color I decided that I wanted to try the darker color and see how it works for me. So far its been good but I have noticed finger prints and smudges. But, they don't really bother me that much. I would say that if you are worried about having the finger prints and smudges you should go with the silver.

If u didn't have keyboard problems with old MBP, would u replace battery to have a secondary laptop? I have 2015 MBP that i feel only needs a new battery to do basic browsing & emailing.
@thebenburns23 күн бұрын
I probably would. And I still might change the battery out just to have a back up laptop. If basic browsing and email is all you need it for. I would definitely save your money until you really need to upgrade.

That's a good question. I would think that you wouldn't have to if you didn't want to. But the computing power of the new M4 lineup is really fast and could make your workload move quicker. But, if you aren't having any issues with your current M1 pro, I would say save your money and wait until you need it.

2:32 Another KZbinr spreading a lot of misinformation about the Nano display. I really don't mean to be rude but so many KZbinrs do this when it could be avoided with a little research and it's really starting to get annoying. - You dont need a specific microfiber cloth, any smooth microfiber cloth (like the ones for cleaning mirrors/ glasses etc.) works just fine. Just dont use the cheap, rough ones, those will scratch ANY glass surface including the glossy display, not just the nano. (Obviously Apple says otherwise, they wanna sell more of their overpriced 25$ Apple cloth) - You won't "accidentally" scratch the nano any more than you would scratch the glossy one, as there is almost no difference in the strength of the surface, Apple has significantly improved the nano display on the MBP compared to the older nano on the iPad. But actually, how do you even scratch a laptop screen? I haven't had a single scratch in 15 years of laptop use - And the worst misinformation: It does NOT mute the colors, the only people saying that are keyboard warriors in forums, clueless KZbin comments and KZbinrs who dont do their research/ havent seen it in real life. In those comparison videos on KZbin, the nano looks worse. That’s because it’s difficult to convey how it really looks in real life via a KZbin video. It’s recorded through a camera lens, hits the camera sensor, is color graded, rendered, and then uploaded and compressed via KZbin. So sometimes the colors will look hazier/more washed out than in real life. There's a good video by a KZbinr called ArtIsRight. He measured the color accuracy and contrast of both displays in detail using "Calibrate" and the Nano display was not only as good, but even slightly better than the glossy one. Like I said, I didn't mean to attack you or be rude or anything, I just wanted to give you the correct information.

@@kylelanham8771 You missed the point at all. It's not "helping others" to spread false information, it's the opposite because people might base their buying decisions on that false information.
