As a kid who grew up homeless and hasn't seen they're family in years this beautiful man has gotten me through everything. Just to make this song hit home even more a shelter I used to live in was called Cornerstone and this was exactly how I felt in those years

I remember the first time I listened to this song, Benjamin was a guest on a famous Italian talk show. My brother and I cried throughout the show and we listened to this song together a lot of times. it is very touching, it reminds me of a very sad period in my life and it also reminds me of my brother, who helped me overcome everything. now he lives far away and can no longer sing this song with me.

Thank god for Tiny Desk Concerts, it might have taken me so much longer to discover this genius. This guy is special, very, very special! I can't remember being so blown away by an artist like he has. Not for a long time. The skill of walking that fine line between ultimate power and uneasy vulnerability in his performance. Truly great.
