Thanks for the video. 8:30 am is the first time the tide goes above 15 feet and continues to keep going up until 18 feet and then begins to decrease again. How do you tell what time the tide will once again go back below 15 feet?

How did your calculator get 1.8234 for negative cosine x -0.25, all the calculators i try say 104.477? thanks

It depends on what "mode" your calculator is in. If it is in degree mode, then the answer is 104 degrees. If your calculator is in "radian" mode, then the answer is 1.82 radians. Both are ways to measure angles. You just have to be sure which mode you are in, and always divide by the dame units, ie divide degrees by degrees and divide radians by radians. If you divide a degree (45) by a radian (pi/4) you will get a crazy answer.
