Good, honest review of a nice looking and seriously quick machine.

I’ve just swapped my Panigale V2 for a 2020 F3, honestly I think it’s easier to ride than the Panigale, nicely set up and other than the gearbox feeling a little less happy with hamfisted shifting, it’s really really nice to ride. I think MV get a hard time because of early bikes needing a lot of finishing off and I was really sceptical but having now ridden a new ish one I really think people should give them a go

I went the other way and thought the V2 is easier to ride.

I also went the other way, MV F3 to a Panigale V2! I agree with Phill, the MV F3 is much easier to ride, less nosey and better balanced... The F3 feels like a smaller bike to flip flop, the Duc is a effort filled wrestle in comparison.... The MV struggled with after sales service, parts had huge waiting times for a period due to financial struggles / takeover issues, they're bouncing back well now and more dealerships are starting to pop back up! Needless to say, I'm eyeing an F3 800 RR next 🏍💨

My Dad has the V2 and I have the F3. Both fantastic and both engines make u fizz. Wire clutch let's the MV down but V2 road manners make it less bonkers.

Do you have anything to say about engine/exhaust heat? I've given up on Ducati because I like to ride the Montecito-Meiners Oaks-New Cuyama-Santa Maria-Montecito circuit, which is a 151 mile half-day ride including lunch and a break in Lockwood Valley, & I just can't manage that very well with extreme heat on my crotch the whole way. How about exhaust heat on passengers' legs & feet?

@@lxvlx forget the MV, you're looking for an easy to do bike. You have to love working a bike to own an MV. Buy a trail bike, 250 +, & put road tyres on it, & shorten the bars. Best lane splitters ever.

Bit of a change from your BMW 310GS , nice honest review pity about the reliability issues which you'll only see on a long term test

27,xxx kms on my 2018...aside from scheduled maintenance and new tires and brakes never once had an issue.... Daily driver, highway and commuter... So I ask what reliability issues? It's 2019 not 1999... These bikes are phenomenally reliable and well built

does this use the triumph engine run backward re badged for mv
@thejbturtle4 жыл бұрын
No, It is powered by MV's triple cylinder engine. You are thinking of the MV Agusta F2 which is used in Moto2 racing where all manufactures are required to use the same engine which is currently the triumph engine.
@JOHNMINKA4 жыл бұрын
@@thejbturtle many thanks i knew their was one road bike by mv that uses the triumph 3 engine run backwards
@thejbturtle4 жыл бұрын
@@JOHNMINKA No road bike by MV uses the Triumph engine. The MV F2 is strictly a Moto2 race bike not a product for sell. It's similar to Formula One where McLaren uses a Renault engine but McLaren does not sell any road car with a Renault engine.
