Limited lsdj support for ez flash and even everdrive unless they fixed recently. El cheapo is fully compatible

did you know you can change the color pallet of the game with the gba pressing the dpad during the gameboy logo?? try holding a and left to get greyscale.

@@TANMAN9095 X3 doesn't have save states and you have to power off the console in order for the save to be backed up on the Sd card

Yes it works gameboy, gameboy pocket, gameboy color and the gameboy advanced (only playing gameboy games)

Does it support “real” saving on games like pokemon or super mario land 2 were it it would save on a legit cartridge. The save state feature is a very welcome bonus but having a save in games were saving would be normal is something I could not live without

It definite does yes you just need to remember after playing to press the button on the cartridge to save the standard game save to the sd card for next time you play it

Great review, might have to pick one of these up. May I ask what happens when you load a game that uses RTC? I want to play pokemon crystal clear (rom hack) and I don't care about the time being accurate. Do you think it would work?

Yeah $50 is still expensive, but for a fully featured flashcard, it's a steal! The only other comparable card is the everdrive x7 which is at least $130. I think it's an awesome deal, and your supporting one of the best creators in the gameboy community
