The final fight in Drunken Master 2 took 4 months to film. One week is typical, but Benny is saying that it was non-stop and they basically lived on the set.

I would argue it's the best duel in martial-arts movies history, it's so well choreographed, and a perfect mixture of flashy and more direct stuff... The Jet being a real, legit fighter added credibility to it of course, and Jackie Chan is incredible as usual...

Thank you for this wonderful interview footage and also for the clarification. I indeed thought it ended rather abruptly. Wanna see.the full interview someday. I was so Glad to find out I am not the only one who thinks the fight (Wheels on Meals) one of the best, if not the best. Mr Benny brought in something very different from what were being done by those HK martial artists and stuntmen. Sort of Jackie:Benny = Bruce: Chuck in The way of dragon. I like my friend, missed the days of Bruce Lee but grew up watching Jackie Chan and co. My top 3 from him are : Wheels on Foods, Project A, Armour of God II. We were so impressed by Mr Benny back then!!

Debbie, I'm so glad that I came across your channel. It was a honor to watch this interview with Benny The Jet Urquidez. I watched all the Jackie Chan movies as a kid in the 1980's and it was great. Thank you My first movie being The Big Brawl in 1984, I was 8 and never stopped watching Jackie Chan movies from that day on. Benny and Jackie had some of the greatest fights on film, PERIOD!! :)

That fight between Jackie and Urquidez near the end of Wheels on Meals is easily my favourite fight scene in any film. Probably my favourite Jackie Chan film, and Yuen Biao had a couple of great fights in it too. Great to see Urquidez talking about it here -- he seems like a genuinely nice guy!

I remember watching a documentary about martial arts movies and it noted that fight scene from Wheels on Meals as the greatest fight scene ever recorded - after watching it, I had to agree it was amazing. I was always amazed how great Jackie was, but seeing Benny The Jet against him, knowing that Benny was an actual champion kickboxer, put him on another level. Yes Jackie was and is an amazing movie star and stuntman, but it always struck me that Benny is the real deal fighter! - he proved his skills in the ring - movie stars rarely do that

No need to talk down on a different athlete. Mayweather has been tested over and over, and just played the game that is boxing to be successful and win fights. Just like Urquidez he fought in a very competitive division and did very well. Two great champions in their own category.

oh man! that story was so awesome. Not to mention quite historic. The experience of being on those sets must have been something else! (not to mention his work with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao) And what a perfect pairing for the Hong Kong action movie industry as a whole (talk about perfect timing). Arguably it's finest alumni (Jackie Chan) teamed with the most stylistic/skilled kick boxer of his time ..and we all get to be lucky enough to enjoy it :)
