Recently I went to the Fleet Air Arm museum, Yeovilton, and rode on a massive lift. Part of the museum is made to look like the interior of an aircraft carrier, and you take this lift to go to the uppermost floor, and get a virtual peek at 3 of the decks. I wonder if this lift is based on a car lift. It was open topped with conventional wide passenger doors at one end.

I found a unlocked logic cabinet today with my friend so we went back to the floor it was on because he didn’t see it, it was a posh Kone lift, in Victoria Square in Belfast. The buttons were dewhurst which I didn’t like about it

Looks like it is. There is no working fire alarm in the building, apart from the temporary building site wireless call point and sounder units dotted around the place.

That kitchen was the koolest surprise floor ever, however the thought of accidentally walking through the other way and stepping into a freefall is terrifying.. was there a lock? (Seemed a bit "too easy" for you to open) Really cool insights into how various operatives work, quick one on your opinion of office demand decreasing however; the demand for Grade-A spaces like the video is skyrocketing, there's been office fit-outs this year executed close to £300 per sq ft (which is ridiciously high). Crappy 80s built call-centre buildings in the suburbs however are less fruitful for the true owners and commercial agents, thanks to work-from-home. (Source: selling office design, you've actually done a tour through our 80s Atrium project!) Great vid as always

Uh..... The normal lift doors were in place, the door was later probably added on (which he was able to open without a key) Even if you open that door, you will still see the lift landing doors.

00:03:14 Was that LCE plugged into kone's remote monitoring thing?
@benolifts2 жыл бұрын
Yes. I have seen this quite a few times with new LCE installations. When Kone has the service contract they remote monitor the lift this way. I am not sure if this is done instead of using a KNX card.
@BenDeSwert6662 жыл бұрын
This device is indeed 24/7 monitoring. It reads the canbus of the lift and can predict failures. When the lift acts strange (safety broken during drive, door had too many attempts to close, etc) it automatically generates a service need for the engineer. On LCE it's plugged in to the serial port on the MAP interface card, so the RS switch has to be activated to route the CAN signal to the 24/7 device.

I have one from amazon. I am not sure if I should find a comfier one. Do you have any tips. Also, for staying warm at night, lots of places say to get an under quilt, but it is a pain to set up. Are there any alternatives.
