At the 15:10 minute mark, your comment "if you have 30 PPM nitrates in your water, call the water district and ask what the heck is going on" is the best comment in the entire video. In Michigan with all the gorgeous Great Lakes around us, we have some of the best tap water in the country (ignore Flint situation where some people tried to cut a corner and screwed up by dealing with an inland river) my tap water comes out at 0 PPM of anything nasty. I cannot imagine what it was like for you keeping fish in CA when you lived there. Maybe it wasn't as bad then, but with what goes on there now with the filth in the runoff...WOW!!

I’m in olive branch and I have 0-0.25ppm ammonia, 0,0 for everything else and 8.2 ph straight from tap I barely use any prime and hasn’t changed in a year I do test my tap water

To get rid of BBA cut back on feeding and blue light if you can set the time for your blue light to about 5 hours and gravel cleaning to pick up uneaten food.

Maybe a flow rate meter could be added to a canister as a way to possibly know when it’s time to service it since one of the only ways to tell is when the output flow slows.

Talking about fish color I have peacocks and haps I have a 4 inch hawk and sand diver with full adult color I feed Xtreme and white Crane the white Crane does not contain hormones as people have led to believe and all the other fish are in full breeding dress just like to know Ben can you buy white Crane in the US

hi ther great video Ben hey what's ur take on taking one of canister filter off one tank and just clean The repeller And the hose but not filter media Or the pads Just a hose and the So you Set up a new tank I take 1 canister off 60gal an put it on 75gal

Yeah u can do that I wouldn’t even clean the hoses or impeller unless it really needs it I would also add some stability since your going to bigger tank
