I always loved it when you had the dicks who were blatantly lying about who they were & their DOB came back as them being like 65 but they’re clearly in their 20’s. Your dry sense of humour used to go straight over their heads…. PMSL. I think the saddest episode was the one when you broke your sunglasses 😎 it was like they were your baby 😂. It was amazing that you got back to back series 😝 to all the other forces! Take care all of you xxx

I'm glad none of the West Yorks interceptors were never like the one guy from Central Motorway Police, I think it was Motorway Cops on BBC. That guy used to play up for the cameras, wind people in the back of his car up until they kicked off. I worked with a chap who was in the same unit and had the chance to go on that series, he didn't and he agreed with me that was exactly what that officer was doing. The West Yorks are probably the best Interceptors series.

For example, when you’re out of the car filming, then need to get in and go quickly, have they ever been to slow to make it into the car? I've also watched loads of other episodes. Since watching that first episode, when I was 10, I've wanted to be a police officer. Me and my friend at school used (still do) to talk about it and go "did you watch that bit with Baby Ben and ..." and things like that. I turned 14, 3 weeks ago, I still want with my whole heart to be a police officer all cause of police interceptors.

I don't know if it's just me but the worst part of the police interceptors or traffic cops or any of these kind of TV shows is when at the end they let you know what happened to the people arrested in the episode... And it seems the fines are very low or the consequences are non-existent. If you drive without insurance you get points in your license (some of them don't even have a license), pay some kind of recovery fee that could be £150 and then a £100 fine? That's much cheaper than actually get insurance for the car. This is just an example and the numbers maybe are not 100% accurate, but that's the feeling I get after watching the episodes... In any case, thank you to all police workers that help us have a safer life.

Don't get me started lol Literally end of the show, Scumbags are walking away from appalling crimes! Or blatantly caught out at a crime scene lol
@TeamElemeno
@TeamElemeno 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah but then they have a criminal record, which as massive implications on future careers or getting into certain countries etc. Not to mention if they re-offend then they’ll get way worse punishment. Also if they do ever go straight and get a vehicle in the correct way the police ANPR cameras will probably set off everytime it clocks their name, probs end up being pulled over every time they leave the hosue

@@dom24363 I'm not saying every one should go to the electric chair for stealing a TV, there is some grey area between the black and white 🙈. But I think fines for driving without insurance are laughable, for example. Or at least what they say in the episodes... I don't know what happens after that.
@josephbarns4960
@josephbarns4960 2 жыл бұрын
@@javiTests The fines based on their income, obviously the profession of criminal isn’t taxable so it’s peanuts and normally a £75 victim surcharge. Again the fines are rarely paid, this is normally due to further crimes being committed and serving time inside which wipes the fines off - which is perverse.

@Grant it was the Stand up to infertility documentary. There was at least 4 hours of footage of the pub scene, plus an interview with Rhod before the gig in Swansea. There was also footage about our infertility journey that was filmed by us and in Cardiff. So probably about 6 hours worth of film from just us. When you consider other couples as well who were being filmed it adds up. For Ben and his team it will probably be the same a lot of footage you don’t see :)

@markwright3161
@markwright3161 2 жыл бұрын
I think it would be held back from airing if it could be evidence in an incident. There's probably a lead time between incidents and airing that enables footage to be used as evidence if necessary and to still be aired as scheduled, in most cases anyway. Considering he mentions using the footage to get additional info about suspects, registrations off vehicles that flee, etc, I imagine it's written in a contract to enable them to film, that anything they record can be used as evidence if needed. It might be required because of the way our police is, government funded and technically employees, the cameras might need to be recognised as tools for the job being performed, on paper anyway.
