The Stanley knife attacker (the assailant was using real deadly force) could have cut an artery in your neck, killed you in 30 seconds. I saw a UK cop when confronted draw his extendable baton, a few hits subdued the guy. My grand father (a Met Police Sgt) broke a few collar bones with his baton, very effective way to win a fight.

for those who might not be following i think what the guy had is whats known as a RIF replica immitation firearm they come in 2 forms from what i have experianced BB guns or Air Guns theese are CO2 or sometimes compressed Air powered and fire a ball bearing or Pellet and are primarrily used for Sport target and hunting and Airsoft guns theese fire at a much much lower FPS rating and are powered by sometimes CO2 although less and less often and the more common Propane or Propane derivative green gas theese fire plastic balls and are not enough to cause major injury but do hurt when shot with them and can sometimes break the skin but there about as safe as paintball the reason someone might want a RIF (in normal circumstances) is for airsoft millsim where you and a bunch of lads all go out to a field or a building designated for the activity and you all dress up and play a bit of mill sim think call of duty but more realistic its fun its good excercise and a good laugh as such theres a markett for 1:1 replicas that look the same and function the same including gas blowback which cycles the slide to immitate a firearm the risk here is of course there 1:1 everyone thinks of there childhood bb gun they had with the tiny barrel and brazz tube theese are not that i personally own a 1911 replica and its barrel is just as wide as a real 1911s barrel with the actual bb barrel being hidden inside that you the mag functions identically the slide release functions identically even the take down procedure is the same for it the ONLY way youd know its not real is by taking out the mag and seeing the BBS inside or by looking through the ejection port and seeing the internals the risk here being they look real there designed to and yeah youd get shot in a heart beat if you carry theese improperley they are legal and are regulated (albeit poorly) under UKARA which has rules restricting the purchasing of theese to people who are players of the sport and requires a license to be presented in order to by a RIF the licences require a airsoft field to sign off and confirm you do indeed play the sport without this license you are restricted to TWOTONE RIF's which require the gun be painted majority in blue red orange or green so it can be clearly identified as a replica unfortunatly... the UKARA only applies to the sale from a retailer you can trade or even repaint your RIF without the license dont be a dope people the sports fun and lets keep it fun if your worried about this happening to you follow theese simple steps only transport your replicas directly from place to place dont dawdle and mess around keep your replicas in soft pouches or cases designed for them and keep them out of sight so as not to alarm people when traveling dont get them out and show them off in public if the police stop you tell them what you have say "officer i play airsoft i have my airsoft replica in my bag its not a real gun it is a replica airsoft" let them do what they need to do to search you if they need to and youll never have a issue in your life just dont say i have a gun because you send off the wrong vibes

I have an ex who use to do this to me 2-3 times a week over the course of a year maybe longer. sometimes he would try and take it step further than just showing the knife or threatening me whilst holding it. I always felt guilty and as though I was overreacting for how badly those experiences stuck with me. I didn’t tell anyone for months. I’m away from him now but it brings me some peace to know I’m not the only one who was affected by it. Maybe I wasn’t overreacting after all. With all of that being said im sorry so many people have had to go through it aswell

A Stanley knife…I’ve seen what they can do from accidents. They are horrible. It’ll pretty much open anything it touches right up. Very lucky indeed. You can see where the polices bad attitude comes from. They don’t know if you’ll pull something like this, what does a murderer look like? How many jobs like that can a person do before it changes them?

Unreal the amount of shit police officers have to endure for simply doing their jobs. To go from shouting 'Pigs' to actually trying to stab an officer in the face is unreal. How some people rationalise and contemplate certain situations baffles me. It's no excuse to blame it on booze, everyone's been plastered before on a Friday night in a pub but taking a simple altercation to those extremes is mental! Glad you made it out of that situation ok!
