This amazing man... hot dog vendor... FROM the first person in his entire family *and only one still - to own their own home... to being a dad 7 days a week... from thinking that prison was in his future... to focusing on being home and being at... and with the wife and kids always.

What a fun interview. You have done so much good for so many people Ben. Over the years I have appreciated you so much and the encouragement you have given me and others. It has been five years since I have done any real vending because of health issues in my family and I am needed and now being a grandma is the biggest thing in my life. I have an eight year old grandson who has been touched with the bug helping me with the little I have done. I am designing a lemonade stand for him and will get it built here in the next little while. I am still working on my latest concession trailer and will send pictures when done. I was at Lowes for a year, wasnt the holy grail, now looking for a new spot, this business is not that great, i think it depends on many factors and location is very important, but funding that location isnt easy.

No one said vending is easy. Some people find a great spot right out of the gate, and others have to look around. I would suggest you not commit a whole year to a location before you know how it will produce. Remember hot dog carts and food trucks are mobile.

Buying a used big dog with table used 10 miles from Ft.Liberty 1 block from factory +/- 250 24 hrs any pointers would be greatly appreciated ..I can only do hotdogs sausage dogs And must have a canteen ....a restaurant to hold your food/wash your pans My local laws says cant be done in a non restaurant setting no home cleaning ect ..So got to pay $8 day .Free spot no compation within 10 blocks .

Hey Ben I want to start selling lemonade I’m a little nervous but I already got all the supplies needed I had to start a llc then I went and got my ein # from the irs now all I need is a Colorado sales tax # and to figure out locations I’m excited but scared haha.
