There are physical, moral, and societal consequences to trying to have free access to those activities without their primary consequence. Additionally, historically women did not have babies every time they had sex, even prior to abortion and contraception, because a lactational amenorrhea due to historic patterns of breastfeeding that few women attempt today (extreme frequency was the norm) naturally spaced babies 2.5-3.5 years apart, so women only menstruated once or twice every 3 years from about age 15-40.

Graham Norton is my absolute fave. Pure entertainment without the unnecessary preaching and the way he gets the best stories out of his guests is unmatched (imo).
