Just got mine from a seller who shipped quite fast for being in China (miffy21584). Very happy. The gun tabs were a bit loose, so tightened those up with a layer of clear nails just on the tab surfaces. Also, the tabs for squeezing together the trailer halves, both bottom and top, were a bit difficult. The bottom ones can be loose and move apart, so I clear nails to fix those. The tabs on the top (used to be the arms) are VERY hard to force together, but once you do they ease up a bit the next time. Overall, this is a REALLY good toy and great for the price. Light years better than my original G1. Several faces, everything is very sturdy once it's all tabbed together, and nothing feels like it's about to break. I found a way to store the second gun by shoving it into the space between the bottom / legs in trailer mode. Thanks for the review!

I bought this about 3-4 years ago, for about $120 on Ebay. This is one of the best KO figures ever. I keep him in vehicle mode on display and put a bunch of G1 Autobots on him...excellent display piece. I recently saw Ben's KO video on the Weijiang MPP10 Optimus Prime and decided to buy that, too. I like how it looked, paired with the KO Ultras Magnus. So I went ahead and bought another one of these KP Ultra Magnus'. I've been buying tons of KO MP figures from AliExpress where they sell them dirt cheap. I will keep MPP10 Optimus and Ultras Magnus in robot mode when they arrive. Great review!

Dangit! No waist swivle again! I can deal w/ the arms,shoulders...but damn no waist swivle 4 posing. Love the few fixes THF did make, why couldnt Takara do it from the beginning, a freakin buttflap on a Commander? Still think i might upgrade from my official 2 this, or maybe another co. They are called the MSG Kotobukiya Mechanical Chain Base. There are also cheaper KO's out there of this piece. Furthermore, there are similar sets being sold by DX9, and others, that are Autobot orange, Decepticon Purple or just plain gray.

Ben, have you installed the XT007 shoulder upgrade? And does it solve any shoulder issues? Mine has issues like yours with the shoulder staying pegged in. And it cannot support the weight to hold up the large gun. It still looks bad ass though. :-)

Pulled the trigger on this. Looks good. Buuuut. Missiles were not painted at all and missing the passenger side front tire. Robot mode looks good and all joints are tight. Slightly disappointing about that tire. Must be zero qc there.
