I feel Fin's current role is what the writers had in mind for Elliot (if meloni hadn't leave the show), the faithful Sargent that will have Liv's back no matter what (I'm pretty sure we all thought since the beggining she'll eventually be in charge of SVU). On the other hand- the pure friendship that Liv & Fin have is something that we never saw with her & Elliot bc there was always that subtone of love/something deeper, so I really love that Olivia is experiencing long lasting genuine brotherhood ☺️

@@mykolmacias8649 Elliot was irrational at times. We only saw liv being irresponsible in the beginning but Elliot worked based on his emotions at times and got too angry or too depressed.

When Ice-t first joined SVU I thougjt "What the hell! He's a rapper not an actor.!" I've seen some of his movies and wasn't impressed. I was a big Bidy Count fan though and could respect him as a musician. Boy was. I wrong about him as an actor. He and Mariska are the only reasons I can still watch this show. They bith keep it interesting and are defiantly why it's lasted as long as it has.

we never saw what it was but it was referred at the end of the episode when Noah was kidnapped (if not it was the next episode) Fin was either defending Liv or blackmailing Dodds about not firing her. I don't remember exactly what he did but he was the reason that she didn't get in trouble❤️

Some people think it has to do with the perjury she went through with William Lewis, but because is Dodds other fans believe he still blames her for his son's death so maybe he's trying to get her off her position because he doesn't feel she's worth of leadership material? There are tons of reason. In the early seasons Liv got in biiiig trouble with the FBI (her accomplice got jail for life) so maybe it can be that too?

Disappointing... it was hyped up so much and we weren’t even told what it said. Like we already knew it was about Benson’s position following Noah’s kidnapping. That was verified when the memo was fist introduced. Like this should of been about the rhetoric used to describe Benson. Like if it was disparaging, sexist, offensive etc Dodds would have legitimacy in not wanting to have it circulated. But if it was merely about Bensons job security (which by her own admission was something she was unsure about [ie returning to SVU]) that isn’t really something he’d be go afraid of getting out. Like it would make more sense if it was related to his blaming of Benson for his son’s death
