Thank you sir, I'm thankful that I luckily found your channel before being influenced by those influencers, it's been 5-6 months since I'm your regular viewer and what I've learnt in this time from only your channel is very beneficial, otherwise I might have been doing only fancy exercises and compromising overall muscle co-ordination, stability, etc. and avoiding these great basic exercises like squats, bentover rows and deadlifts which doesn't only helpful for hypertrophy, infact also help to maintain good posture, improve functional strength.

@@astranger5375 I know about calisthenics. Muscle coordination can't be trained, unless there's some preexisting illness muscle coordination can't be trained.
@astranger5375 Жыл бұрын
@@divyansh6574 that is your ignorance brdr, almost every compound movement teaches us how to engage different muscle to perform a particular function, when doing bench press we not only think of pushing the bar away but also have to maintain that posture throughout the movement, we use our whole body from toes to head, what will you call it? And then stability, it is also being trained with exercises like suitcase carries, planks, deadlifts, pullups infact.
@divyansh6574 Жыл бұрын
@@astranger5375 You don't have to engage any muscle. Muscles will engage automatically when they are required to perform a task. Stability is task specific, doing suitcase carry won't make you better at football or deadlift

@@divyansh6574 Basically the ability to exert maximum force on a given movement pattern without any assistance whatsoever. Stabilising muscles play a big role. Core strength is tested too. You don't get your strongest on the squat pattern with mostly sticking to leg press. Similarily your absolute pulling strength is not built at the expense of pull ups and some sort of hinge-based rows. Of course leg press and assisted rows/lat pulldowns are excellent options to grow the targeted meatball, but do not expect to gain solid carryover strength from them. Never in my life have I trained my arms with dedicated isolation exercises, just pull ups and bent over rows twice a week, yet carry stronger, muscular arms than most my peers who ritualise their arm day. Similarily, I stick ritually to barbell squats and walking lunges for my legs and have massive meatloads than most. Don't even get me started on the sprinting and jumping carryover provided by freeweight leg movements. In addition to all this, I execute leg raises as per my whims here and there, and can casually squeeze 50+ reps, all thanks to the basic compound lifts that build your ab strength as a side quest. You can check out Enkiri Elite, Mike Israetel, Sal Di Stefano, and KneesOverToesGuy for a detailed, actual science-backed, wholistic view on strength and conditioning. On the global scale, leading strength coaches are devouring charlatans like Athlean X and Kashish Gupta for breakfast.
