Please look into using Castile lemon soap,you can even stretch it,Dawn contains formaldehyde etc..

I've been thinking about using the clay on my locs but I kept wondering if it would wash out. So the clay brings forth the buildup? Thanks for the info!

GIRL! It brings up the buildup like no other. Just be prepared to wash your hair repeatedly to get the buildup out. The clay isn't hard to wash out at all

Thank you so much for leaving this video up. i just bought bentonite clay and was wondering about using this on locs. The back was my trouble spot as well with lint and oil buildup. This was such a helpful extremely so. :-)

Thank you so much for the info. I have Sisterlocks (8-yrs) and have been obsessed with getting lint out of my Locs with the twizzer, which means I'm tearing and destroying the locs. After reviewing your video, I will definitely try the Bentonite Clay & ACV or did you use water? How many times did you wash your hair with Dish Detergent?

You're welcome! I used the detergent twice. I mixed the bentonite clay with the ACV. A ACV rinse can help with lint too

I use rhassoul clay to wash my hair but I haven't revisited bentonite clay in a while...it might be time

So how much bentonite clay did you use? I need to try this mask. I can only imagine how much buildup I have. Where did you get that shirt? As always, thanks for enlightening us!

I really didn't have a measuring cup. I just poured a good amount of the clay in a bowl, then gradually added ACV until it was the right consistency. I got the shirt from amazon. I just searched for length check shirt. And thank you for the compliment!!

IS THE BEN CLAY SIMILAR TO HENNA? I HAVE USED HENNA FOR THE SCALP CONDITION ON MY 2 1/2 UR SIS LOCKS TURNED OUT WONDERFUL!!! HEALTHY...LOT OF WORK THOUGH!
