I think so to. But I don’t think Octopus will solve anything. How would Denji know it does anything. He also only recently learned that Pochita has erased thousands of concepts. My guess is that he’s gonna keep vomiting devils until one lets him get out of Agings realm. If so, we could literally see ANYTHING. Concepts that haven’t even been thought of could show up.

I’m honestly just so happy for Denji. This is his first step to not let the terrible things that have happened to him hold him down any longer. He’s found that even though his life will almost always be filled with tragedy, none of it will ever hold him back as he keeps finding more people to care about and live for. He’s been through so much, and so to finally see him overcome this trauma feels really cathartic. I’ve been absolutely loving this current Arc and can’t wait to see where it keeps heading. Denji and Asa need a goddamn win and I hope to finally see them get one.

Denji is pulling a big brain move on the AD. Asa and Yoru are both confused as to what he was doing but it's all for a reason. The AD thinks both Pochita and Denji are dumb but neither one of them would sacrifice kids for the sake of their own selves. That was nice to read that part.

In ones life, family does change. Ive had children, buried my mother for example, and a new family dynamic is something i dont just tolerate, but embrace. Age really tries to pick at Denji's resolve for its speed...but in real life, sometimes you have to move on that quickly. Denji is saying something, akwardly, very wise. That if he moves on, he'll have more family. Now we see if he pukes up Octopus, or even (lol) Nuclear Weapons

Its not just about that. Badguys keep trying to take his family to get him to snap and release Pochita. The best defense against that and a middle finger to them is not allowing himself to get depressed every time that happens. His declaration that he will keep making a new family and move on from the loss each time is basically defying their attempts to manipulate him moving forward.

I don't particularly understand the aging devil's motives. We can assume that each devil has an innate desire or fixation for whatever concept their designed to represent - to one degree or another. Control wants control. War wants war. etc. At least as far as primal fears or the horseman are concerned. All the other devils we meet seem to just have to power over the concept they represent. If aging either wants more people to age and/or has power over aging - what does that have to do with killing children? Doing so would mean there'd be that many less people around to age, and you'd think aging would become stronger the more people there are who are afraid of getting older. Say setting a hard cap on how old people can be before dying would make the prospect of getting older more fearsome. Killing the young means they'd fear the missed opportunities of getting to become older, but not fearful of the concept of aging in and of itself.

From what i understand it was said that the aging devil has no attachement to life. Its one symptom of growing old, that you it possible to lose fear of death and rather get tired of life instead of excited. Aging devil said he wants denji to mature and ponchita to kill children. For me that could mean he literally wants to ponchita to give up, kill children and therefore also to denji to give up part of childlike innocence. To grow up and come on aging devils level. The aging devil is basically a frustrated, bored out of life old man that just wishes everything to end. I personally think the primal devils are way different then the rest when it comes to their behaviour and action and aging is no exception.

im predicting that chainsaw man and denji will switch. Pochita is only out there because denji cant take what happened, the loss of nayuta. If he really gets back, I think he will be able to come out and gain control of his body. But if that happens, im not sure what good it will do because denji is weaker than pochita. Maybe pochita would swap with him and cause havoc in the realm of aging devil, which turns out to be within aging devil's body or mind, maybe soul, since he can just manifest himself on trees or whatever.

The aging devil is just directly the author voicing criticisms he reads about his own manga online...lmao he thinks adding dialogue that directly points out the contradiction and hypocrisy in the narrative somehow makes it meta and immune to his poor writing skills. "you just found nayuta dead and didn't really care, now you're already moving on. must not have loved her much....seems your entire character is a façade" fujimoto "now that I mentioned it in the manga it's meta and not a writing mistake. The problem is that's just the reality of creating a vapid, shallow and hedonistic character that's solely meant to self insert into for incels. You might run into a problem when you want him to be heroic. "I'll just find a new family" literally what everyone was calling denji the entire manga. Pointless. He's not even just saying that to make the devil upset or anything he's actually saying he doesn't care if his loved ones die because he can just find new ones....please remind me wasn't the entire point of the manga Denji finding normalcy and trying to live a full life? Yeah, I have to admit, this hit really weird. Maybe it's just the way it was written. If he had, instead, said he'll keep trying to achieve his goal of a normal life despite what bad events hit him, then, sure. But to say "i'll avoid depression with finding new families" just sounds insane. It's human to feel depressed, it's human to feel grief, and Denji is just a kid ffs. I don't think this newfound realization from Denji is meant to be met with applause but concern.

Im sorry that messaging is just unrealistic, continuing on guaranteeing success just isnt true. I think it is more realistic than you think, it's just that it is easier to be stuck in sitting back cowardly and think it's all for naught. Denji here is unknowingly practising outcome independence, he isn't being attached to the outcome of an event because if you stay stuck or bent out of shape about how something went badly, you will just be watching the rest of your time/precious life flow by you super fast instead of moving on to something potentially much better. That's his solution, and one personally has been super important to me personally to be able to survive and find new experiences. Just a thought!

Fujimoto doesn't care and only now wants to paint denji in some heroic light instead of something hedonistic and degenerate. The author can't stick to one idea and just goes off of fan feedback, even the art is losing it's luster. The assistance that made fujimoto's work detailed and drawn well all left to work on their own projects...the guy is now on his own and can't write his own manga....he was always only as good as the people around him. Go read DanDadan if you want something the SAME tone but doesn't ruin itself by pretending to be serious like chainsaw man.

SO they don't have to hurt themselves reading something that's aimless and doesn't care about them. they can just read the comedy by the assistant of fujimoto who was the one who drew all the backgrounds people used to praise in part 1....I like HxH and other shit like htat. I'm just recommending a comedy because nothing is cringier than trying to read a manga that's nothing but low brow sex jokes and retcons, but it takes itself seriously... like chainsaw man does. @@Raypingmutes if Fujimoto sacrificed art for story, then he made the wrong choice, lol. The first arcs of Part2 have just been rehashes of Part 1 but somehow worse. And now we're back to another Infinity Devil parallel with the same two characters. Fujimoto needs to go back to hit roots or wrap up CSM. His work shines better in smaller projects.
