Cactiball/Fright Bulb: You're doing it wrong, or at least needlessly hard. Try growing the relevant plants in a checkerboard pattern. Like so: @#@#@#@ #@#@#@# @#@#@#@ Mind you, getting to the Cactiballs might get a little hard once the cacti get too tall, but they DO show up quite regularly without a fence. You're probably right about needing multiple types of flowers for the Fright Bulb, though. I've never tried growing a mono flower garden, so YMMV.

@@Starcat5 of course you can set up your plants as you like, I just showed the easiest method to get to the items (Cactiball) which doesn't make it harder in any way I believe 🙈. I also had the checkerboard version in my video :)

There apparently is a way to grow the Hotto DLC pine trees from an acorn (and thereby harvest Seedling and Sapling forms) - I haven't tried it myself, but they seem to grow in Stony Soil (and one source says to plant them in the craftable Gravel block?). Like all DLC items, their 'Pedia entry is hidden until you get one, so it's not like you need them for your 100%. But, I get a feeling you're like me - you want the maximum percentage, even if it's over 100.

I wanted to have Zara dress authentically for her post in the casino security, and had to opt for a dyed leather armor as the second best option.

If you want to grow vine-apples, plant vines in the dark (shielded by at least one solid block - seems roof tiles don't work), which will have a chance to spawn vine-apples when the vine grows. As for shine-apples, they either need to be in less light or deeper underground (need to test more). So plant a vineyard deep underground for best results.

You can turn off plant growth in the options. Anything you planted will still grow, but no random jungle will cover your meadows.

If you're lucky, you can pick up the Cantlin Shield in one of the Builderdom's Best Creations on the explorer's shores. I think it was on the first or second island. Just look for the castle city recreation that's using it as wall and press A to collect. Don't use the hammer, then it will just vanish.

Tip: when you play on switch if you try to visit another persons Island using that warp plate you need that online servious you need to pay for. HOWEVER you do not need it to visit islands on the post board the way Ben just showed us.

For the CactiBall and the FrightBulb, I find planting in a checkerboard pattern works best. Granted, any `Ball that grows in the middle of the cactus mesh will be a bugger to get to before unlocking the buildnoculers, but that is more a problem for early game, and easily solvable with the Gloves. Also, for early game, I recommend a floating garden. Yes, climbing ladders will slow down your villagers, but ants can't dig up what they can't reach. On the down side, I built the dang thing over the river, and I think that it is setting back the related green tablet target. Hmm... Maybe I'll switch over to a layered greenhouse. I overdid how high up I put the current one anyway.

Snowy Cedars can be grown from acorns when planted in snow, but it seems like they're rare like fright bulbs. You must have cedars down already too. Lol. I tend to forget that part and grow tons of plumberry by accident.

Also, freesia flowers planted on a snow field will cause Cedars to pop up, though I'm not sure that this method ever generates a snowy one. Just as the stalwort plants on grass cause plumberries and cotton plants cause birches.

Replaying the game again due to getting a new system, and the Cactiball never spawned in Khrumbul-dun on this run. I knew they spawned by cacti, but none were spawning on my island. Checked this video to see what I was doing wrong. Cacti take too long to grow. Your videos have been way helpful whenever I needed to remember something.

I have discovered that non snowy cedar trees will grow on their own if freezia flowers are left on a snow patch.

These trees will grow all on their own around the freezias. You can cut down the trees and new ones will keep spawning. I also learned palm trees will grow same way on lemongrassy with a fribrous fern... Im experimenting with the others

You can farm Bamboo trees with the ultimallet (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqObm2qJqKusq9E), then they can be placed as trees and not sprouts. And then they should be able to be placed on any ground :)

I’ve just fixed it!! you hace to go to page 4 on your settings and turn on the windows check, then you have to build any kind of aquarium even if the windows aren’t ok, then when you fill it with water the windows will automatically get well, without needing the block of the corner !!!! DLC items don't add their entry to the Builderpedia until you get them - it will create and fill their space on the spot. So, make or harvest the DLC stuff and it will add accordingly. I only just added a 16th page yesterday, myself.

I just grew a bamboo bluffs pine tree on isle of awakening in Green Gardens with an acorn somehow. I do not know why, because I was trying to plant a plumberry tree for a tree swing to make a playful park. I placed a musical instrument at the builder temple with 'Slumbering' playing and that is the only thing I can think of that might have caused it. Weird. Anyone with the DLC want to test this and see if they can duplicate the results? I planted it on bare earth.

Yes he is using the ulti hammer, the last hammer you can craft. Only the last hammer turns everything you hit into pickable items.

to get a big cherry tree you need to use the magnetic block and stack the trees ontop of eachother. you can also make custom trees from using the dead trees and a bunch of the cracked destructable blocks. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZyxlnWDoKeZg9E shows how to do it and what the various foliages look like.

There are like 35 different seeds in the game. You need to be a bit more specific 😏

Just about all of them can be found farming the various Explorer's Shores. Just take a hammer (but not the Ultimallet!) to any of the following: The 8 colored flowers, a Tingleweed (yellowish flower that paralyzes), Gladiolus, Sunflower, Wheatgrass, all 15 crop types (17 if you have Hotto DLC), and medicinal shrubs. And, for trees, the Acorn can be knocked off "block trees" in Blossom Bay/Furrowfield, or farmed from Treeface or Badboon enemies. I want to say that's all of them, but feel I'm missing one more flower that has a seed type.

Sofern du bei den Medaillen genug hast, bekommst du beim Einwohnerverzeichnis ein Upgrade. Damit siehst du die Raumwünsche von deinen Bewohnern. Du musst mindestens einen Bewohner alle Wünsche (Größe, Stil, Atmosphäre) komplett erfüllen. Für extra Items müssen es am Ende 5 mindestens sein. Beachte hier, dass einige Charakter gleiche wünsche haben und im gleichen Raum wohnen können.

@@BenXC I think he's talking about plumberries; you see them on the ground in plumberry forests on the explorer shores. I have never seen them spontaneously spawn on the IoA, but you can use the Ultimallet to get them from ES islands without them becoming the food version, then plop them down at your place.
