This might be as good a place as any to ask. Bought a C180k 02 a couple of months ago, and it's been a treat spare a little rust, but that's the nature of the beast. However. I was doing 70kph in a tunnel just now, and it seems it suddenly went into neutral, and i was unable to accelerate. I put the shifter into neutral and back to drive, but still. I was coasting in fifty by now creating a little jam. I got off the main road and slowed down to thirty. It shifted down like normal, and i was fine the rest of the half an hour drive home. This is my second car, and first "nice" car, so this is freaking me out a whole lot. Grateful for any input you fellow C-class drivers might have.

Is there a way just to remove the arm rest? I want to remove it and wrap it in suede since it is starting to lose its leather look and is tacky after I have cleaned it. The degreaser act like it melted it instead of cleaning it.

I am having problem with my cup holder as yours. I have the same car and model and my cup holder works fine but does not raise by itself. I puched it out as you did and checked it. I don't find anything that should bring it up. Could you show a video of the cup holder mechanism? I think that I have a missing a spring or part. Thanks

My shifter rattles badly under acceleration. If I push it to the right the noise stops. Would ripping apart the center console reveal any causes of this or could it be from underneath the body in the linkage? Thanks for the helpful videos!

Hi. My c240 has a clicking noise coming out if the air vents in the centre of the dash. The part costs $35 bucks but Mercedes wants $1000 dollars to install. Do you have a video on how to get the dash removed?? Btw I used your video to replace the drivers side window switch., EASY AS CAN BE!!! Thanks.

I have a problem with the console lid in my 04 clk 500. The pins that move in and out to release when you push the tabs on either side dont seem to work. Now the lid is completely off and I cant seem to get it back on. Can you help?
