I'm very impressed with the LCRX.I see it as a great choice for a car carry weapon for vehicle carry or backpacking choice. You only get 5 but they are a devasting 5 rounds. I like the fit and finish on the LCRX.

Besides saving a few bucks, I can't understand why Ruger didn't put a longer ejection rod on the 3" LCRx???

My best guess, is so that all LCRs would have the same cylinder and ejector rod, they'd need two different crane set ups to add the full length ejector on the 3 inch lcr. Though I agree I wish they did.

In polished stainless the 101 is a piece of jewelry, especially when its wearing some nice wood grips. It should be a crime to carry one in anything but a finely hand-crafted leather holster. The LCRx has a better trigger, but it ain't pretty.
