What is up, my watch friends?!? So, check this out… today, I’m comparing two spring bar tools: the Bergeon 7767-F with the Bergeon 6767-F. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with either one of these. But, there are a few slight differences that may sway your decision of which spring bar tool you want to add to your watch tool kit.
Keep the insanity sane!

Sorry, I ran out of patience and never got to your discussion of the tools. Your lengthy description of the bubble packs just made me crazy. Best of these kind of videos to get to the point.

I think the loose tip thing must be reasonably commonplace, had my 6767 for about five years and like yours the one of the ends is loose every time I use it.

Great video! Bergeon tools can be quite expensive especially for beginners. I'd recommend Beco Technic as a cheaper alternative for any watch tool.

Yep, I have a 7767 I bought from Esslinger and it does the EXACT same thing with that tip. I thought the same thing, that it was only the one I got. But you just confirmed that it’s not just mine. Still love the damn thing and I got into the same habit of making sure it was threaded before using lol

hahaha, I do the exact same thing... whenever I pick it up, I just got in the habit of twisting it to make sure it's on tight. But, it's definitely just not you or me.

I think F is fine, S is standard (a bit bigger), and there’s an SF version which includes both instead of the pointed end. I have the 6767-F and love it!

for the 6767, the tips also unscrew. i guess it was meant to be that way. just got into a habit of screwing it in every time i use it.

Can simply use loctite to keep the tips twisted on. It’s common

Hello. Is this your original 6767-F instrument? Please tell me where you bought it? On the original they write No 6767, and you just have 6767 without the prefix No

Does an “expert” say “I think it’s this?” No. You work with this tool frequently and don’t know what “F” stands for? I’m just jumping into this hobby and it took me a minute to Google “Bergeon F spring bar tool” to know that F = fine, S = Standard. Lost a potential subscriber here.

hahaha, good to know. Thanks for sharing. Nevertheless, I still wish you all of the enjoyment possible in this wonderful hobby. btw, fwiw, I never claimed to be an "expert" so you may want to be careful of the presumptions you make upon others. You might find that to bring a little bit more enjoyment to the relational side of this hobby, instead of just commenting like you have a stick up your bum.
