Interesting, where do you buy good spring bars I bought some from Temu and they've seen really crappy, cheers Graham

Happy Sunday. As it happens, I'm working with a supplier to build a set of "the good ones." Please stay tuned for that. In the meantime, there are places that sell them at a premium. 1.8mm thickness is pretty good, but sometimes a watch will need purposefuly thinner ones. Check Esslinger.com until we come out with ours. All the best, D

Why would you use the single forked tool over the tweezers? I would have thought the tweezers would be best for removing bracelets in all cases?

Hi Dennis! They don't always work is the challenge. Over the years, endlink fitment is part of the issue, springbars with bad/damaged shoulders play a part and my familiarity with the tweezers is probably in there too. Happy Friday, D

@@HobbyOfHours sounds good. I’m specifically wondering how the tweezers work with a Speedmaster 3861 bracelet…any advice there? Also, just wanted to say, just discovered your channel…loving the content!

Thank you for the kind words and welcome to the channel! I'm sure the tweezers will work fine although I use a spring bar tool for all my Omegas. The fitment on most Omegas is not as tight (generaly speaking) as say Rolex or some of the lower end bracelets (funny the tightness is present at the high and low end of the spectrum). I had a Rolex AD teach me that when using the tweezers to install the bracelet, sit the bracelet on your work surface and bring the watch down into the bracelet. I was doing it in the reverse and having challenges. My two cents! @@DennisC_X
