As a Coast Guard veteran myself it's great to see the kind of job we did.

Amazing. Pulled the man out of ice-covered ocean, with a huge block of ice on his chest so he couldn't move himself. I'm visualizing the basket close enough he got a hand on it and clamped on for his life. They moved the basket and he held on. Thank God. So all the crew saved. Fabulous job - and meeting the man's father two years later just puts the cherry on the top!

I was there, that fishing vessel did not have crab on board. That harbor had over 50 vessels in it 6 hours prior. The entire crew was asleep as all other boats were leaving for open water and safety from ice flow.

I guess I wouldn't want to answer again either. They made no effort to wake them or warn them? Trying to get rid of a rival? That is beneath low. Most fishermen would not want to have someone involved with that episode on their boat if that is indeed what happened.

Bullshit. I was on the Storis when this happened. You're a God dammed liar.

I was on board the Storis during this rescue. I was in the engine room.
