I'm loving your reactions because when you listen to Angelina, in particular, your comments are very thoughtful but you come to a point when you look at us with a expression on your face, basically telling us, "What more can I say? She's unbelievable!" And that says it all. And I see you are starting to pickup on 'who she is' more and more after each video. That soulfulness you are hearing in her voice is very genuine and your heart recognized it immediately.

Narges Mohammadi was this years' recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Narges was, at the time of this tribute, on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two children spoke on her behalf at this event. Most of the performers were Iranian. We know Angelina's grandmother, Mery Zamani, grew up in Iran and was a prodigy for painting and poetry. We can imagine the conversations Mery had with Angelina about Narges. This performance had to be extremely meaningful to Angelina and her family. I hope all the angels will spread the story of Narges and her mission, with the hope for change. In 1954, Alex North was contracted to compose the score for the prison film Unchained (released in 1955). North had a melody he had written in the 1930s and composed and recorded the score when he was asked to write a song based upon the movie's theme. North asked Hy Zaret to write the lyrics. After first refusing, Zaret and North together wrote "Unchained Melody. Zaret refused the producer's request to include the word "unchained" in his lyrics. The song eventually became known as the "Unchained Melody" even though the song does not actually include the word "unchained". Instead, Zaret chose to focus on someone who pines for a lover he has not seen in a "long, lonely time". "Unchained Melody" comes from the film centered on a man who contemplates either escaping from prison to live life on the run or completing his sentence and returning to his wife and family. So indeed this song fits along with Narges being in prison and her two children, and the rest of the people who embrace freedom, calling for her release.

Nice reaction You’ll find that Angelina tailors her style to what is appropriate for the song. Many singers are pretty much one dimensional. Angelina has many tricks in her bag and uses them when she feels it’s necessary. She can belt, sing breathy, sing in low register, high register, use vocal fry, use her amazing vibrato, vocal runs among other techniques. Plus she never seems to do too much just to show off.

Great reactions to an amazing singer. Please check out Feeling Good "LIVE on The Stream Gir Tilbake" as it is one of my favorite performances by Angelina. She is 10 years old at the time, but you would never know it if you didn't watch the video.

I've been following her for 4 years when I found her on AGT The Campions. Now I have to listen to it every day, it's part of my daily routine. For me she is like a healthy drug that my mind cries out for. She's 18 now and still getting better live, she's a superpower. There are over 200 cover songs of hers that are mostly better than the original as well as 13 originals that she wrote and there are still over 100 songs that were written by her in the drawer waiting to be released so we still have a lot to look forward to . Greetings from Germany (translated by Google)

Same as me. I can say that Angelina is like medicine for my body and my soul. Greetings from the USA ❤️
Angelina is known as the "Angel with 1000 Voices" & this was her straight singing natural voice, even operatic at the end. She creates the perfect appropriate voice for each song she interprets. Her versatility of styles & genre of music she can produce is off the charts. This is one of my all time favorites of hers & those last notes are so pure & beautiful they bring me to tears every time. Nice reaction & keep them coming.

The Nobel Peace Prize is presented in Oslo, Norway and the others I believe are presented in Stockholm, Sweden. Angelina has been known for her lower register from an early age! She is so talented there is a behind the scenes video of her working with the director of KORK and a pianist doing the arrangement for this performance. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpDGhXqJlqeJgNEsi=0uE48FOz9QB15QyI They kept this rendition subdued because of the occasion. Angelina and KORK (Norwegian Radio Orchestra) just did a magnificent rendition of Unchained Melody! The perfect song for Narges Mohammadi Nobel Peace Prize! Third time with KORK, she did Back to Black and Summertime when she was 10! Has been invited twice to Nobel Peace Prize, previously appeared when she was eight! Narges is in jail for leading the fight for women’s rights in Iran! And let’s not forget Angelina’s Iranian heritage and Oslo is her hometown! At the end Angelina puts her hand over her heart acknowledging Narges children who were on stage and happen to be Angelina’s age and are living in exile in France! Would recommend her new unreleased original song: Princess of Ruins! Angelina debuted the song at her recent Las Vegas, Nevada concert, she tells the story why she wrote the song! She actually has met Pricilla Presley after the opening of the movie Elvis and also did a tribute for Lisa Marie after she passed away! Timeless, eloquent, exquisite and stunningly beautiful ! Angelina looks like a Greek goddess as she delivered this magnificent performance ! She is so poised , reverent and so respectful in this most special concert as she sang directly to the recipients of this award ! The recipient Narges Mohammadi was unable to attend because she is is currently imprisoned in Iran for her human rights and woman rights activism.Narges has spent half of her life in prison for her views and though she was unable to attend her husband and twin siblings who are Angelina's age were there to receive this most prestigious award. This performance was so important to Angelina because it was held in Oslo, Norway. Her hometown with the world famous Norwegian orchestra Kork and her ties to Iran are through her grandmother Mery who is Iranian. So to see her deliver something that is so dear to her heart and family was spectacular to witness. This is why we love our barefoot princess so much because she is such a humble, sincere, compassionate, and loving soul. All the angels all over the world who are her fans adore her and I want to thank you for continuing your wonderful journey with our beautiful Angelina Jordan. Keep posting my friend and sending you much thanks and love from Canada 👍🇨🇦❤️

Absolutely phenomenal performance and Angelina is being respectful to the winners with her rendition, I imagine Angelina is so proud and humbled to be appearing at the Nobel peace concert in her home country Norway 🇳🇴 and to be appearing with the Norwegian Kork orchestra,Angelina has appeared at the Nobel event before when She was 8 years old in 2014, with her performance of ( What a wonderful world) ,also Angelina has collaborated with the Norwegian Kork orchestra before, once with her arrangement of (Back To Black) at 10 years old, and again at 10 years old with her arrangement of ( Summertime) , Angelina is so special, I attended Angelina’s live concerts in Las Vegas on the 29th February, she was so excited and honoured to be performing a on the same stage as Elvis had performed on , in Vegas Angelina’s stage presence was incredible her live vocals phenomenal, great reaction thanks 🙏

Angelina Jordan remains the most predictably unpredictably brilliant artist you will ever find. As a fan who has listened to everything for 10 years. When her EP came out last year at 17 her fans ANGELS did not know what it would sound like. Yet we were still surprised. She went from different genres to, in the EP, genre cocktails with tracks progressing through decades on an arc going from unrequited love to triumphant self belief. Everybody has favourites but mine are NOW IM THE FOOL to GOOD IN GOODBYES ( lyrics are brilliant). A must see is her short documentary ANGINA JORDAN 10 YEARS IN THE MAKING. It has footage from her recent Vegas concert. Guaranteed to make you smile. Songs snippets are short enough you should not have copyright problems.

The song about a prisoner longing for his loved ones, sung for a imprisoned iranian Mother, who wanted equal rights for all, sung by a world class singer of iranian heritage (grandma Mery Zamany). Sung to the 17 year old twins of said Mother. At an award ceremony, that is the highest praise any Human can get, disregarding color, religion, nationality etc. Be safe sir. Elmar from Germany

You mentioned how she reminded you of Priscilla. Trust me on this: your next Angelina reaction should be her cover of Elvis’s Suspicious Minds. This one will blow you away musically, vocally, visually, and aesthetically. It is nothing like you could expect or imagine, but it’s Angelina hitting on all cylinders. Here’s the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIXFfJuhmMqFZpIsi=NLBgV89IZABSal_F She’s the best singer I’ve ever heard-no qualification, no reservations.

Very fine reaction! Thanks! You mentioned "Priscilla Presley vibes." Very true! Wait until you see her black and white video rendition of Elvis' "Suspicious Minds" at age 16! WOW! She not only is wearing her hair in Priscilla's famous "beehive" style, but she is also wearing all black leather and sporting the very same style of guitar that Elvis wore and used in his 1968 Comeback Special! Many of us angels see very marked similarities between her and Elvis physically, vocally, stage presence, and charisma. Some call her the female Elvis of today!

I've subscribed. This is probably Angelina's most heart-felt performance because she connects directly with both the story within the song and with the person honoured by the Peace Award, Narges Mohammadi, who is in jail in Iran for fighting for women's rights there. Angelina's grandmother is Iranian and Narges' children were there in the audience.
