Great video. Basics explained clearly for the first time users. There is one thing I discovered when applying the very same product on my St. Augustine lawn, I have extremely high water pressure. Because of this I do NOT open the spigot valve all the way. By doing this, it’s easier for me to get a little closer to the label’s coverage area. I also apply just a little more to the visibly infected areas. Thanks for confirming I’m on the right track, when applying any hose end product.

Thanks bought some today - bought a new home sod came in and after fertilizing hot humid summer brown spots occurred So decided not to take chances and sprayed this product this morning- hopefully it will turn around I plan to give it a few days then over seed some new grass seeds a combination formula to help things look better - and hopefully this will carry things over into winter and next year

Very useful information and tip's. Could you maybe do a video on rotating between the different classes of fungicides? Good point about the amount you use. If your using this as a preventative, to keep from getting a fungicide, use the lesser amount, if your using it as a curative, where you already have a fungus problem, then use the higher amount. Yes, you have to buy more, but I learned the hard way, it's a lot less work, and money, to stop the fungicide, or problem, than it is to do a total lawn renovation. Good video, thanks. John

Good video. Just one point. Grass does not burn do to watering during hot weather. Water evaporates during high tempertures which causes the roots not to be moist enough and the grass leaf part receades.

So I got this product call gunner fungicide i use a one gallon sprayer with 2 oz of the product it says it covers 1000 sq feet . I have zoysia grass here in Florida . So I notice some dollar weed and browning in the lawn and apply it today. I used it past February and worked good. So hope it works again

My problem w this fungus sprays is some times products doesn't get out. I spray half the lawn and then look at the little window and the container is still full. I'll shake the bottle the move around any blockages and it starts spraying the chems. Usually, I go by smell test.... If I smell that Fungicide in the air, I know it's coming out.

A better approach, and cheaper, is to use a concentrated product in a pump sprayer than a hose end sprayer.. Its much cheaper per 1ksqft. I always do a combo of granular and liquids for weeds, fert, iron, insect killer and fungus. You get the benefits of the immediate impact from the liquids, and the delayed benefits over multiple weeks from the granular. Obviously this costs more and is double the work, but it will have better results and is still cheaper than hiring someone for the treatment(s)

Normally last about 25 to 3o days. I tell most people to subscribe to see after videos. How fast 💨 your lawn recovers depends on how bad it was . 10-30 days. Sometimes it kills the fungus but your lawn has to grow back in.

yadda 10 fertilizer burn can last a season depending on how bad it is. Here is a fast fix. Add some high quick top soil. Rub it in real good, keep her watered. Eventually the stolons will pull in on that spot faster.

Sent a picture to my lawn supply store contact. Says I have brown patch bad high humidity and heat. My lawn is a mixture of fescue, rye and bermuda living in TN. Ran out got a few bottles. Early this morning. Sprayed lawn first thing this morning about 75 degrees. Noticed we are suppose to climb to over 90 today. Should I water like crazy this evening. Trying to figure out if the yard is toast until fall.

The better plan would’ve be to apply late evening when temps dropped then watered in that morning. But yeah if it’s that hot you may want to water 💦 in. Check your label though to see what it says about high temperatures.

I have a question how effective is it to use an ortho sprayer bottle for chemicals such as liquid fertilizer, iron or any other chemical or would it be best to use a pump sprayer. I would like to see what your input is on which is more effective

Both work good but I’m not a fan of the Ortho sprayer myself. The pump sprayer ( depending on which one) is easier to apply without dragging a hose through your application. The hose end Ortho does have a dual but really works best when you use their products because the dual settings are on them.

I put it on early evening when the sun isn't on the lawn. Then I water it in the next morning. This stuff will burn your lawn if the conditions are right, like a hot sun baking down on it.

You can do both of those store bought same day. But to get the best and more of a longer lasting time, apply 15 days apart because you’ll then get about 45 days of protection.

I read the label and the label clearly says do not use on Bermudagrass. Is there another spray fungicide I can use. Also I went to the BioAdvance Site to confirm and the same was said there as well.

Don’t know what product your using but the liquid and the granular can be used on BermudaGrass, it’s recommended not to apply in temps over 85. I just got off the phone with them to verify this 1-877-2293724, you may want to call again. I’ve never seen a fungicide that pacifically said not to use on BermudaGrass, call that number now and let me know what they tell you 👍🏾

Either ride it out or apply the fungicide. I mainly treat in the middle of the season or when it’s a lot of rain and humidity. In one of my last videos I make reference to that. 👍🏾

David Hensel normally take 3-5 weeks to grow out but the lawn is going dormant and you cutting less.
