That snuff was so damn great. Had a backdrip that burned like lava but the aroma of the tobacco and casings was sooo worth it. Definite stewed fruit notes, I also seemed to detect maple and old wood and leather notes. The aroma lasted a long time, too. I miss that schmalztler a lot. It was exceptional when taken outside in cold weather.

More snuff videos I just got into it and really enjoy it apposed to either smoking or dipping my gums got pretty bad early from military time so I quit it to save my jaw haha

I heard Bernard started making their brasil/mangotes themselves. could not get Brazilian for a while/ import was not possible and had to get creative. Also I think schmalzlers were alkaline-free for a long time but Bernard started using to stabilize fermentation? Please correct me if I am wrong! Btw. Do you know what skronowski tobacco is? 🥸I have read the name, but could not find much info. There is one EU leaf-vendor who has skronowski. Will try. Cheers and have a beautiful weekend !

I do know that Bernard’s got some stabilizers in it, but I can’t remember the amount. As far as Skronowski, I plan on doing a much larger video eventually on Eastern Europe as a whole. :)

I know that several manufacturers, Toque foremost among them, have introduced dupes that have received high praise. Those definitely won’t be exactly the same, but considering the ingredients for Bernard’s snuffs were listed on a German industry website, I’d like to think they’re pretty damn close.

⁠@@SnusAtHomewhat are those toque clones called? Ingridients are tricky, especially when it says „tobacco“ it could be so many different things 😅 I’m just a beginner here but like pasta is not just pasta, cheese is not just cheese.
