The Mahler Symphonies with Haitink and the Berliner are about the best you can get on CD! . 1-7+adagio10. 1,2,3,4 and 7 are also available on DVD. It's still a shame that Philips didnt finish the cycle.

The DVD are not the same performance as the CD, they are Live performances about the same time.

ofcourse, in those days, they still made "studio"recordings. Haitink recorded the cd's a few days after or even next day after the performances that were recorded for the DVD's.@@brunoluong7972
