Aspirin is contraindicated in young people ( below 16 ) as it may cause Reye's syndrome( swelling of liver and brain) . Though the chance is very low there are other safer analgesics. So it is avoided.

Excellent. But there is one exception; a case where aspirin is recommended for children...Do you know it?

If there is bernard soulier syndrome and platelets can not adhere to the VWF..so there is no platelet aggression and platelet plug. So there is no fibrinogen incorporation as well right? my question is as there is no platelet plug and incorporated fibrinogen how can there be a secondary hemothesis? and isn't it going to lead to deep tissue bleedings as well?

Iam 16 years old and i kinda slow down growing around 12-13 years old. Right now at 16 iam 5'4 and sir i really need to know if its CONSTITUTIONAL GROWTH DELAY or IF ANYTHING IS WRONG WITH ME i cant get x-ray but can you pls give me your opinion?? Nice video... Thanks... One question... You said in previous "RIPA" video, PLT aggregatometry measures plt aggregation & by extension adhesion & activation... So an adhesion disorder like BSS, should have abnormal PLT aggregatometry values.. isn't...? Kindly explain... Thanks in advance... BTW, the graphs are PLT aggregatometry.. Graph 1 : normal Graph 2 : Storage pool disease Graph 3 : BSS IF my answer is correct, then BSS has abnormal PLT aggregatometry... right ?

Ok , no aspirin is given in young patients because of the risk of developing reye's syndrome which is fatal in children.
