I found Bernardo argument not convincing. It will be odd if conciusnes could look only the way we are looking (as biological life) in the whole universe. And if it is possible in other galactic, it should be also possible to find it in AI or in some symulated universe we may be once able to build together with ASI.

Oysters mushrooms feed on roudworms and Cordyceps kill ants and several other species of insect. It's kind of strange because we often associate fungi with feeding on "already dead" material.

Nothing is as it seems but everything is as it feels. I feel everything. For me to be able to say I "know" everything, if framed right, would simply be a matter of recognition and syntax in order to be true. Because I am connected to everything in some functional way, I can also put into a syntactic form, an answer. Everyone has this capacity and it is what we refer to as intelligence. But... isn't it still up to the individual to recognize and apply it? When a person tells another person something that has a seemingly huge affect, was it really knowledge being passed or was it actually just 1 person making audible sound at another person and that it was actually that persons own capacity to function that allowed for the discernment, recognition, meaning, and re-projection that flowed through from one consciousness function to another? I would love to try to answer anyone's questions, and the algorithmic process Id use would be much like how an AI would compute.
