It always amazes me how dogs understand what your saying especially if its something they love. Our family beagle did the same thing..if i said very quietly would you like to go for a walk she would go crazy, run to the kitchen closet open the door, remove the leash from the door handle and drag it to me and drop it at my feet!...wagging and whining all along!!..Benny is very sweet and you treat him very lovingly!💕🐶

What impressed me the most, was the "dog - washing station". Wow... of all the beaches I have taken my dogs to, I have never seen this. There's one I go to, that has a fresh-water shower, for people, that I use to wash off my Newfies, but every once in a while, some one complains... oh well.

OMG! Benny is exactly the same as our Brodie, he'll go in the water until his feet can't touch the bottom anymore and then its back to shore. He gets so mad at our yellow lab and golden retriever when they swim out further than he can wade out to . Lol!

I just watched this, again, hoping for tips when I take Oliver back to the beach. North Myrtle reopened yesterday and I took Oliver down. He went straight for the water and took me with him. I had sweatpants on and immediately gained 50 lbs or sea water in them. I’m sure we entertained the folks on the beach!

First time we took our Berner to the River. We had only had her a week. The current was strong and she just a pup. We let go of the leash to let her explore, thinking shed be cautious like Benny here. Nope..Full on sprint and lept righ in. Was like there goes our new expensive pup. But she swam great even in the strong currents. we got her at 6 months guessing the breeder had introduced her to water previously.

Really Cute!!! You could get Benny a Doggy Life Jacket...really helpful whenever going out in the water. Don't forget to always dry his ears really well to avoid ear infections from moisture. My advice is done.
