So ein schweres Stück so gut gespielt. Könnte ich nicht. Respekt.

I listen to this so often, because it’s one of the best organ pieces ever written.

Perfect tempos throughout. Thank you for not frantically rushing through this grand and noble piece, as is so often done. Here we actually get to appreciate the scope, drama and structure. 👍 ❤️

In my opinion the best rendition so far. Those staccato pedals halfway through as it should be, those small pauses and yet still lingering on. Thank you for this joy.

I prefer Latry's version though, it's more agile at parts, although this one is really skillfull too

An excellent, even model performance. By complete coincidence, I decided the other day, to relearn this piece, one the greatest individual movements in the French Romantic repertoire, and this performance inspires me to take up my quest! Well done.

Very nice! Good tempo and articulation. The beat I've heard so far! Thank you

*The articulation beautifully keeps the sense of steady rhythmical propulsion of the shorter note values clear and clean. Wonderful , dramatic, musical playing and registration.*

@keplergso83693 жыл бұрын

I suggest to add omni microphones to get the deep frequencies of the organ. Very good recording thougth and impressive in tempo keeping in the difficult parts especially!

There's quite s few good organ symphony movements between Widor and Vierne but I think I rate this one very highly - the grandeur juxtaposed with declaratory linear passages. ❤

I had nearly forgotten how moving and beautiful the organ could be... Simple motiv, playful arrangement and enough variation in keys to make it progress and flow. I sometimes wish i could write like that. Playing like that is out of my reach anyways.

Yes, 2 flats in the key signature is g minor (or b flat major but the piece sounds obviously like minor) 🙂
