georgemiser Actually then DNC was never going to through its support behind Sanders bc Sanders was and is an Independent. He was never a Democrat. The DNC had no loyalty to Sanders and didn't owe him a thing. The Democratic Party voted for Hillary Clinton by a nice majority over those who voted for Sanders. It was very clear the Party wanted Clinton as its Pres. nominee.

I don't think many Labour voters are disappointed, Labour may not have won it but the Conservatives definitely lost. Expect to see another election in the UK within the next year or so, minority governments are never successful and never last very long.

Whats crazy is that it's usually the older generation that screws over the younger generation but with Jeremy Corbyn and Bernie Sanders, they come across as believable that they would try to deliver for the young and all the country, it's just a shame that people in both countries don't see that, after all, if we keep voting the same way then we won't get change, what happened in the UK especially with young votes is a positive step but they need to keep the momentum up for real change to happen.

Bernie's speeches are always the best! It just rolls off the tongue for him because he actually cares and is passionate about the issues we face. Always plenty of substance. He's criticised for appealing to emotion, as if being a politician of great moral fibre and pointing out the flaws in the system is a bad thing.
