I love it that he states it exactly like it is: politics should be boring. I once watched a political debate about assisted suicide (I think that’s the best way to word it) in Germany. It was kind of boring, but also extremely fascinating to see and hear the different nuances of rhetoric and ethics. No one yelled, no one said bad things about another person, it was just stating facts and how and why people should or should not be allowed to get medical professionals to help them end their lives.
