Great tutorial. Thank you for all your tips and all your work. I noticed that you sewed on a 790. I was thinking about buying a 880 plus. I was just in love with it. But a technician (Bernina store) told me not to waste my money. I was in shock and didn't buy any machine. Would you recomment the 790 over the 880?

I am sorry you had the horrible experience. I sew on a B 880 Plus and B 790. I love the B 880 bobbin for when I do decorative bobbin work. Also I love the very large embroidery on the B 880 Plus. In addition you can make gorgeous motifs using shape maker from your decorative stitches using the B 880 and stitch them out in the embroidery module. I would go with the. 880 Plus with the Free Cabinet (current bernina promotion) but you need to be comfortable with the machine.

@@BERNINAofNaperville Thank you so much for your kind reply. It is so strange. The tech guy from the other B dealer said that exactly the bobbin (case and sensor) were the problem with the 880. They were not able to fix the problem during the years. I should wait and see if they bring a more modern Embroidery machine out in the next 2 years. So sad. But thank you for your encouraging words.

@@1Heimat well I’ve been working with the 8 series since they were released as the B 830 in 2008. Love it. Too bad your local place is not well informed.
