It is my understanding that some law enforcement departments wanted a mag disconnect in case a threat grabs the gun, the officer drops the mag rendering it inoperable. It is also possible that some safety features on imports are required or are required in the country of origin. I agree with you. It can cause more harm than good. My TPR9C does not have a mag disconnect. It will shoot with the mag removed. It is my favorite sub compact. I don't buy light single action trigger striker pistols without manual safeties so the BP9CC is off my list even though I do like Bersa pistols. Its like carrying a 1911 cocked and not locked in condition zero ready to fire condition. A negligent discharge waiting to happen when something snags on the trigger.

Thats it. Besides who many gun fights happen without a mag?
@rbm61844 ай бұрын
@@cardinalprosoftwash The idea for the mag disconnect was that a suspect could not fire the gun if it was taken from an officer that ejected the mag before it was taken.

Did you ever have an issue with the slide catch not staying seated or "locked" in place after reassembly? Cleaned my Bersa, took it to the range and after five rounds, the slide catch kept popping out

275 is average. i have 2. great for the price & that trigger is phenomenal. & there’s is no way you will unintentionally release that mag.. the mag release is waaay too stiff. i have 7k + rds thru them.. i would know. & talon pro grips.

Why would any one have a pistol without a magazine in it? That wasn’t a stupid decision of that person that created that, that person just save millions of lives by making people always have a mag in the pistol
@gunlocker7562 Жыл бұрын
If u are in a fight and the mag falls out your pistol is now a paper weight even though u have one in the chamber. Stupid in my book. Appreciate your opinion though.

@@gunlocker7562 do magazines fall out often? genuinely asking bc i’m trying to figure out why the trigger lock is such a big deal
@gunlocker756210 ай бұрын
@@ceceflores5418 Not usually but say you are in a fight and the magazine comes out now you have a weapon that is useless. If you possibly have a training error and ride the release you could possibly have a useless gun. They claim it is so the gun can not be used on you if the mag drops. I will take my chances with that and not have that magazine disconnect.

In my thoughts, that mag disconnect is for the newbie i guess. Avoiding accidental discharge by pulling the trigger even without the mag. I owned one and it's an excellent gun for me.

that dead trigger could be a magazine issue and I believe the mag drop dead trigger started to keep police safe incase of a scuffle they can drop mag so they don't get shot with there own gun. love the videos

I think you are correct about the dead trigger when no magazine is present being a law enforcement safety feature. I just picked up a s&w 40c that was a an LE trade in. It also has the same feature and if If I am correct the Bersa is used by LE in Argentina.
