Oh. I never thought about a comparison between soulbeast and berserker and that soulbeast can stay in empowered state forever. Makes you wonder how nice it would feel if enrage was a toggle with a cooldown, where we could toggle it to change burst skills in certain situations. It would even free up utility as we wouldnt need the duration increase skills. Oh man, that would feel so much better to play.

Savage Instinct still sets your Rage to the old cooldown. I've looked everywhere as to why it was left this way. In patch notes, the streams, and the forums. No acknowledgement of why it was left alone when they reduced Rage cooldown.

Possibly because they forgot warrior even has traits. the fact that they even bugfixed staff and aknowledged berserker and warrior's traits specificallly in patch rundown is a huge W in compairson to neglect we used to be given.

C. edit: Dang I win. Funny part is Mace 3 on Rev is the same animation' and range and triggers the "on movement ability use" Resistance Application trait. 😅

Thanks, Cap'n! If I don't quit GW2 whatsoever (which I must do!!), I'll try my new Berserker spec tonight. Initially, I thought it was just me, that I could not play pvp in gw2, but after trying core guardian and engineer mech and core, I started suspecting that something was rotten in the state of Warrior. Thank for confirming my suspicions!

Pure power burst berserker works best in large group/zerg WvW since you can take all the DPS traits and have a pocket Firebrand or Druid deal with all the heals, cleanses, and utility. One of warriors issues is that there is a very narrow windows of what works and what doesn't in sPvP because of one kinf of game mode and small team size.

Brother, everything works with a pocket Firebrand or Druid. However that doesn't fix the problem, which is that withaout a pocket, most warr builds just fall flat.

@@captaincrapface7337But Captain, burst berserker is at the top of the arcdps chart when you build the entire Zerg around it, so clearly it’s the best dps in the game!!!! …As I’ve played more and continued being warrior-pilled by your channel, I increasingly think this single WvW Zerg / GvG build and it’s extremely narrow window of performance holds back the class from receiving adequate attention. Which is crap. No class should be viable in only one game mode-worse, viable in only exactly one specific approach to one game mode where it entirely relies on organized groups.

They reduced absurd aftercast on [Slicing Malstrom], if they didn't touch the game they wouldn't figure out that it is a problem. This change gives me back some hope.

@@captaincrapface7337 I put in one, maybe two because I forget, bug reports when the skill came out. I doubt I'm the only one. Every time there's anything new for what I play I test it because that's what I am to Anet. A beta tester. I thoroughly submit bug reports for skills that don't work as described by in game tool tips, or tool tips that don't reflect the skills properties. Warrior is also the lowest of the problems I have with this game. Warrior will continue to see no meaningful changes, and the rest of the game will continue to be neglected. There will be no: tutorial, explanation of stats to new level 80s, new LFG, skippable dialog in story, less AoE mess on the ground, stopping all the "Free cast" behind while running away skills, reskinning the same enemy models for the 10th time, giving all profession skills unique animations with proper telegraphing for PvP, updating the boon/condition/trait/sigil UI bar, creating new maps/content for WvW/PvP (Adding a new match making system that allows servers to stack even harder doesn't count for me), leaning into recognizable content by adding "Dungeons/Raids" so other MMO communities even know what's happening. The list doesn't end there but I will. No more watching Anet spin their wheels on backburner problems for me. Thank you for all the good GW2 content over the years Captain! I unsubscribed from every GW2 channel recently cause I'm done with all of this. I wish you fare winds and following seas you maverick renegade : )

Does dead or alive trigger last blaze or king of fires? You should get 2 stacks of aoe burning if entering berserk. Also King of fires triggers off all berserker skills i.e. primal burst, rage, and torch skills, so not just limited to the utilities, but does tie you into a torch for reliable fire auras/detonates

They need to remove the self stun on using Headbutt. I know it's used to combo with your stun break, Outrage, for full adrenaline to enter Berserk in an instant, but it seems like you're using two utility slots for a single utility skill for the same results. I want to actually keep my stun break when I get hit by an enemy's stun and have the option to punish them for it.

@@captaincrapface7337 and also the arcane spell rework xdddd shameful. The one which was altered to be a movement spell has the same animation as the berserker mode warrior wallop (elite skill) xdd I think it is disrespectful how low buget are the animations currently

I love your videos as a warrior main...but you seem to love discipline trait line too much. How you can have a glass cannon build without strength is something that's beyond my understanding. Just let go of having 5 second weapon swap....let go my friend.
