I had the joy of sharing the stage with him for a year in 1960 in a musical Revue called "Vintage '60" in L.A and NYC.(a short run) . He was without question, one dear man...talented, beautiful in every way and a kind man. I am so pleased to see this tribute posted in his memory. Aside from his humor, he had a really beautiful voice and knew how to use it. Thank you for this sample of his talent.

I used to have a CRUSH on Bert Convy in high school.😍 Thought he was SO HANDSOME. Loved him as a game show host, but there was so much MORE to him than that. Singing here, sang on Broadway. Wonderful voice! 🎶🎤Humble, affable, very talented, funny, handsome man, I miss Bert Convy still. 😞Was one of my favorites back in the 70s.

Yep as handsome and talented as he was, he was never arrogant and always made fun of himself. Other celebs loved ribbing him too and he took it with such good humor

I knew he was a singer on top of being a host and actor but I never actually heard him sing until now. He had some voice. Really put a lot of emotion into this performance.

Bert Convy was such a likeable personality. He was a great singer, actor & game show emcee. July 15th, 1991 was a sad day, as it was the date of Bert's death. I was watching game shows on the USA Network (back when it was a good channel) when I found out about his passing. I can't believe it will have been 21 years this July since we lost Mr. Convy, who would have been 79 years of age this year. I miss him dearly. R.I.P., Bernard Whalen Convy. The Heavens gained a bright star, for certain!

Figured he could sing. I love this song. Reminds me a bit of Tunesmith by Jimmy Webb. This song was written by Kenny Rogers and was based on a story he heard from Jessi Coulter about Waylon Jennings.

I say it all the time... You are rarely on television if you cannot do it all. You may not do it all in the television, but you have to have the ability to do it all. Bert actually starred in cabaret as the emcee years and years ag
