The record is timeless! It's been 40 yeras ago I got the LP as a present. Since I lost my LP-Collection I bought this one on CD. Lost it as well. L.A. Turnaround reminds me of the good old days, when we were young.

Imagine having this written about you. Nothing crude or vulgar, just a subtle celebration of a woman's beauty and charm. Thank you Bert. Thanks for uploading.

He played it for me, for us, so many times. He left me. This song is still everything to me. For not being afraid to die. With all my sorrow, remembering his eyes, his voice and subtle movements playing this song for me. My love. Still hiding in my hair.

Yes, instant whoa factor. I've listened to it so many times, will never tire of it, and could wax lyrical about elements of it.

Bert Jansch was my absolute hero when I was 22 years old. Nearly 40 years later he still is. I must have seen him perform dozens of times in folk clubs sometimes at a couple of feet from his fingerboard. Singer, composer and guitarist of exceptional talent and charisma. He lives in my soul somewhere.

i opened for Bert and the re-formed Pentangle in New York and solo Bert in Dunedin New Zealand-he was a beautiful man and he showed respect big time for his opening acts.It would be great if other big names had that sense of respect, humility and a propensity for the...'' nothing last forever'' Bert was tops in these realms miss you man and the music you gave me since 1965.

Fresh as a Sweet Sunday Morning "by Scottish folk musician Bert Jansch (1943-2011), a founding member of the folk rock band Pentangle, from "L.A. Turnaround", originally relaased in 1974. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4HQioJ_j5ppg9k Lyrics: Fresh as a sweet Sunday morning : Like a high stepping pony strutting and prancing Ah she's so full of life Sparkling with tiny red roses Let there be music to please her Let it be sunbright to light up her day Let the moon light her night And fill her with deep silent sleepiness If I were a small bird so tiny I'd hide in her hair just to be near her To hear her sweet voice And feel her sweet body beside me And if I were a high lord with riches I'd clothe her in satin from India's far highlands I would shoe her in gold Then invite her to sit at my table Step out young lady a-dancing To the sound of sweet music so gaily come singing For your beauty so rare Is as fresh as a sweet Sunday morning

Can't get this song out of my head after hearing it here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4qwZ3mlm9Z3mMk&list=WL&index=239 The song invokes a feeling of loss and I feel like I'm back in a time long ago, a bit like past life regression; powerful stuff. Been into Pentangle for years but never listened to Bert's solo stuff; now I have a plethora of "new" music to discover.
