@j.ballsdeep420 Жыл бұрын
It's healthy imo to start preparing yourself: I did the same with my old man and the day he passed, I kissed his forehead and was able to hold my shit together to be able to break it to my brother coming to the hospital after he had passed and other family where idk how I would have handled it being there overnight and the morning he pushed that last breath. Had I not prepared I think I would have been with my brother just checking in and not been there every minute til the end cause you already accepted he's leaving years from now. I agree, Joey ready to leave us

Not that unusual for some people, especially intelligent people that like Cocaine. For instance, I can tell you My family's home phone number from 1963, my teachers names in elementary school. Coming from an ex heroin addict, I got to say that you inspire the hell out of me Joey!!! I quit in 2011 and seriously this is how I found you and Joe Rogan. I had time to watch podcasts and watched joe's everyday while dealing with the wd's. Your stories and success after drugs really helped me get out of the addict mentality. It made me strive for sobriety and made me realize that I can do anything I want to. Thanks for always sharing the dark shit Joey!!

I've been clean myself now about 6months. Where you on methadone or suboxone? I'm finding it difficult trying to come off the methadone, I've been on that shit 19yrs more than half my life, I'm at 20mls now down from 120 but, now they want me to go on suboxone and I don't know if I should, I was just planning on coming down to 2mls if that's what it takes then try stopping then.
@mikemendillo55846 жыл бұрын
Good for you Brother, keep yourself busy, get into health/fitness, it's a much better high my friend ! :)
@jamesyboy46266 жыл бұрын
Much better high? I very much doubt that and I don't think you actually believe that yourself unless you have never tried drugs but, health and fitness are a much better life style to live a long healthy life, for sure. Even though I've been an addict most of my life I still don't see the problem with drugs, I only see a problem with the law, make them legal and regulate them and we wont see as many deaths or drug addicts, the psychology of telling someone they can't do something is very real especially when they grow up in poverty and have a deep hatred towards the government, they don't want these people to tell them they can't do shit. By leaving the drugs in the hands of drug dealers then you're obviously going to have deaths as it's cut with all sorts of shit, regulate them and they automatically become 10x safer. Another thing the drug counselling over here is just one big fucking joke, every group they try and send me to always seems to have a god involved even though I tell them I'm an atheist and don't believe in any gods, you have to hand over power to this invisible deity and everything will just become fine and dandy, pray your problems away type thing, doesn't work for most of us and only works for some because if you took everyone who was on drugs there is always going to be a percentage of them who are more willing than others and as AA is one of the biggest groups over here it's no surprise it worked for those who were more willing but, if you sent them to another group about fairies it would probably have the exact same result, no god is just picking these people out and forgetting about the rest, I mean he's god, he could fart and we would all be off it, simple. I went to a group just 2 weeks ago which was in a church but, they assured me that there would be no talk of god, they just use the building, so I went along and it was a lady telling me she could remove negative energy from my body by using the universe and/or spirits, basically whatever you believed in she could remove negative energy through that smh fucking joke man and they wonder how people can't get clean... maybe have a group based purely on science and psychology and we may see some results.

It was so interesting to hear Joey talk about being an introvert. How he never liked alcohol and he would be at a social event & wonder why he was there. That describes me to a T. Pretty audacious and vulgar assumption: I hope people don't make such prejudicial assumptions of you that are meant to hurt you. Idk who hurt you that you find it necessary to anonymously strike someone you don't know in real life but I promise you the world isn't all the same and you're your own person who has great value and worth --you don't need to do this to make yourself feel better about yourself and hope you don't continue try bring yourself up on the back of hurting someone else like you experienced. You need someone even to just vent or exhaust your pain? I gotcha, man. Be better

@@j.ballsdeep420 it's called a joke. The guy is a COMEDIAN. I think he can take a little joke. I know other people have said much worse about him. Just read any two bears comment section.

First memories I have as a child is my family of 5 sleeping in a 1 bedroom apartment, all sleeping in 1 bed. Never thought that is why I could have social anxiety.
