I had no clue who this dude was and became an instant fan, watched all the sixth lead episodes, amazing stuff, i could easily see those great shows on tv like curb your enthusiasm style. Then watched his blake griffin pod to start with. Incredible... one of the best interviewers ive seen, great production

Glassman, the best guest on "Fill in the Blank" Podcast.
@Woji524 жыл бұрын
iLLFiNiTy are you literally saying that Rick was in fact the best guest on Fill In The Blank Podcast? Or are you using quotations to insinuate that Rick is in fact the best guest on any podcast in which he has and may appear on. I’m sorry I just don’t really have the capacity to pick up on social queues from people. So I am asking you bluntly. Please don’t take offense. I don’t want to go into detail but a few years ago something happened in which I realized I couldn’t relate to others thoughts or feelings because I kind of take things literal so I am asking as, well. Not a favor, but I would say in order to make things clear for myself so I can decide if I should agree with your statement or check out Fill in the Blank Podcast in which my childhood friend Rick Glassman has appeared on. If he did I would like to hear how you feel bout the use of quotations when writing things down whether it be letters or words, or maybe words that are a sentence. Perhaps surrounded by other sentences, which may or may not also contain quotation marks. We’ll be right back after a word from our sponsors. *snaps*

Rick has to be talking about "The Darkest Timeline" podcast with Joel McHale and Ken Jeong, and while I do truly love everything about that podcast -- in large part because I'm a huge fan of Community -- I can also understand the frustration. There's no reason that TYSO shouldn't be the #1 podcast on KZbin. Not just from the time and energy that Rick pours into it, but from the sheer entertainment and joy it brings. It is so funny, and brilliant, and thoughtful, and creative, and wonderful. It is everything you could ever want from a comedy podcast, mixed with everything that makes you feel good about a conversational podcast. That said, I don't think it's quite fair to the other podcast (Darkest Timeline) to attribute its lack in quality to the intentions of the two men behind it. In fairness to both Joel and Ken, they started it purely as a response to the lack of truthful information coming from the White House about the virus. They spend a tremendous amount of time during each episode updating their audience to the newest info about COVID-19, as well as any potential solutions on the horizon. They truly are doing an amazing public service and I don't think that they really even care so much about the audience they're growing, insomuch as it may relate to the spread of helpful awareness about COVID-19. They seem fairly disillusioned to their own success as is, especially Joel, and I don't think that they'd really have any interest in continuing the podcast if it were anymore work than it is. Not that Rick is necessarily trying to bring them down, because I know his upset-ness comes from a good place. He does deserve so much more for the time he puts in and it upsets me as a viewer/fan, because I don't ever want his podcast to go away for lack of response or viewership. If (by remote chance) you're reading this, Rick, then just know that what you do is amazing regardless! Your podcast is special and I have no doubt whatsoever that you will eventually dominate the podcast world. The response you get is too universally strong and positive for it to not sustain a much larger audience. KZbin is just fickle with its algorithms, so until you hit the 100K mark on consecutive videos you're not going to find much traction at new and unanticipated viewers. That will obviously come with time, and appearances like this make all the difference in the world. Just stick with it because once that traffic comes then all your old episodes will retroactively see a massive increase in views. Going by whatever that number is now is only self-defeating, because you're not accounting for what the future will inevitably bring. It's all about the quality of content, confidence and patience. It will pay off. You are in the right lane and you bring something so needed to the medium! #SkoopDooBloobityBlue

Bert. You have incredible friends that you're surrounded by. You dont need to be anyone but yourself and the subscribers here are all here because we love YOU. Great friends give constructive criticism: I'm so happy to hear big things are coming and the studio has broken ground, but here's a word of advice from a fan of yours and whose been watching you the last nine years, have a co-host and not only have a co-host, but that person should be Tommy buns. If you two do not see how much destruction you two will do, then I'll digress to Uncle Joey wisdom or Rogans. Your not normal. Let's face it. You need somone to keep you on the path that brings the best out of you and the chemistry between Tom and you is so endearing to fans. I would stand in a bathroom all day while you both took the most pungent shits while passing the toilet paper underneath and talking to each other. Btw, can't wait for the new merch to get here and PLEASE make an episode sketch with Tom emulating the old movie SEE NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL that starred Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. Btw, I googled the cologne Bert Cryslter wears and found it on Amazon. The fragrance is described as someone thats in front of you on a line that smells like a pool. The bottle seemed unique too! It looked like a chlorine tablet. Btw, Bert is fat
