So true about FOG. I arranged to meet friends after one guy finished work at midnight. I used this as inspiration not to drink. At 10 I haven't drank but decided I wanted to go to bed. I apologised and got some sleep. It felt great and they didn't mind which means they're good mates.

I seem to get thrown by suddenly seeing drinking in films....it sneaks into the film at times and can be a trigger. I try to switch it off, but on a weak day it can be a challenge.

Yep I agree. The Town was bad for me seeing them sat around with Budweiser after the heist. Having said that Ben Affleck's character is in recovery in the movie.

Hi iv just come across your channel and it's very interesting, I have a 38 year old son he as a girlfriend and a daughter, my son drinks around 12 pint cans a night he as done it for many years, now his girlfriend will carry on with him about his drinking but when my son has no money then she will buy him it and then when she as no money she ask her dad for money and say it to get some shopping and out of that money she will get cans of beer for my son, iv told her she is killing him as well as himself, now when his as a drink he can get violent and the same with out drink, he will work but not always, my son will be dead if he doesn't stop it. He can be drinking say 6 cans and vomit and go back and carry on drinking, it breaks my heart, I use to visit often but now I don't because I can't watch him killing himself, am I selfish for that?.
