Also you can use whichever pen uses Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) so if people have or prefer things like an HP pen or Surface pen they can use it too

I have this as a work laptop. While plenty of people lament the switch to Intel, it is easier to convince management to buy this over a Dell XPS when they can understand the apples-to-apples comparison of Intel chips. It's also worth noting that in "presentation mode" - the keyboard and trackpad facing down on the desk with the screen facing you - the machine can breathe a lot easier and benchmarks 20k+ in Cinebench R23. That's about 10-15% better performance. Presentation mode also makes the laptop a wonderful, additional monitor on your desk compared to having the keyboard deck facing you and in the way. I use it as a 3rd monitor that I take notes on during the workday with my stylus, and I've also set up some touch commands similar to a macro-pad. It makes it a very versatile device that is greater than the sum of its parts

Is the mini led screen with the 4070 worth it? I noticed you didn't mention that difference

You bet it is! When I plug it in and the HDR kicks in...colors pop and brightness gets high. Huge difference compared to any IPS. Even in SDR the miniled has 600 nits so still brighter than the 500 nits IPS version. The mini-LED ist the whole point of buying this laptop! Whithout it, there are a lot of cheaper alternatives. For a 4070 you can get a Zenbook at half price. For best gaming get a Lenovo Legion with a 4080 and still pay less then for the Flow x16. And if you really want a convertable, there is the Lenovo Yoga series....again, way cheaper.

I have the 2022 version with RTX3070Ti. It's almost my dream laptop. I use the convertible feature all the time. It's almost a year since I bought it, but there's no thermal performance degradation, like I had on MSI Stealth GS75. No issues after a year of very intensive usage. Excelent build quality. But please, remove the native ASUS crap software and install G-Helper instead which is 10000 times better. G-Helper makes the laptop even better. I'm really happy with this buy, but the price... yeah it bites. It's premium price for premium quality.

I'm getting the 4.5-5.5 hours on Silent+Eco+60hz. Same x16 with 4060 and i9, upgraded to 64gb ram and 1+2GB SSD. Also note I've set the battery charging level to 80%.

@@karimbasraoui in my Asus store the laptop is 1930, and when you buy as a store you do not pay the 21% taxes. So you can ask it back. So it goes to 1524,-. But its still a proces. Could look online maybe some reviewer is selling it, they all bought or got it because it's a nice laptop to review because of the gimmick

On sale for $1350 new for 4060 model. 240hz nebula screen. It's no mini OLED but it's still great. Even better if you can find open box (it's through Best Buy). Basically, 2 in 1 gaming laptops are now within the realm of reason, pricing wise. It took years but we're finally here!

The 4070 is NOT the best bang for your buck GPU. The 4070 in most laptops is WAY overpriced compared to the price to performance difference, and these laptops are no different. Don't buy the 4070.
