kind of wish we could have seen the Einstar comparison

Einstar is significantly slower, and doesn't pick up data nearly as well, based only on the geometries, even with markers -- it's much more cumbersome in that respect, the professional level scanners are night and day difference -- much, much better.

I’m currently using the Einstar and love it, but it’s about time for a major upgrade. Combo is ideal and Combo+ sounds great, but it feels like the HX should be due for a refresh this year. Hopefully now that the H2 is out we won’t have to wait until September for an HX2++. 🤞

is there anywhere in the US that rents a portable scanner? .. I'm trying to scan a case and photogrammetry is hurting me LOL I have been trying for months and have realized I just can't get it without a scanner.. I really wanna finish my space themed pc build but adding to my 300$ case needs to be done correctly .. I'm not about to dremel a 2x3" hole in the side if I can't pull off a scan ..

Does your spray wash away with water?

Coming from einstar, this looks far, far faster... but it looks like it handles holes better than the einstart too? obviously laser mode is insane, especially single laser, but the IR mode you displayed seems to be leaps above einstar

It's absolutely day and night compared to the Einstar -- everything is faster, picks up better data, no comparison! The Einstar really is a hobby scanner.... the time saved along is worth the ROI for most situations!
