Will this leave any residue on bare aluminum? Will it react with the metal in any way?

AESUB Blue shouldn't leave any residue as it is a sublimation spray. We've been using the spray for a while and from our experience it works well. Just to be safe, I would perform a quick test in a small hidden area just to make sure. We do sell sample trial sizes if you are interested in testing out the spray before buying a full can.
