With Pokémon HG for example, is it possible to play the game without the second screen? You say about the attacks in battle, are they able to be used with just the buttons on the controller?

Yeah you can just use the buttons.

Only if you can memorize the layout of the attacks. All the information about your options is on the bottom screen, so you unlike the video says you NEED a bottom screen or screen switch function to play it.

you made the better choice if you’re looking for the best experience as soon as you receive the devise. Garlic OS 2.0 for the new plus version isn’t really ready yet, but with your rg35xx there’s a great Garlic add on already available. Really the only plus with the plus, for now, is multiplayer access. Which I honestly never use on these things anyway.

How did you get the stylus controls to work for the pokemon games. Ive been trying to play pokemon platinum but i cant get past where you have to use the stylus to touch the pokeball on the introduction

​@@hsvrcause od the fact that Nintendo is very defence full of their copyrights, and the possibility of them sueing Anbernic. You can just download the ROMs and swing them into the micorSD card. Bam, done. I'd highly suggest you curating your own ROM (games) list for the device. If there's too many you spend more time scrolling and picking up than actually playing the games. Search for RetroGameCorps tutorials, and ROM packs such as "TinyBestSet". Enjoy your device!

ive got one thats old too, best advice i can give you is to invest in a nice wrist strap/ lanyard so when you're on the go you dont have to worry about dropping by accident. the rg35xx doesnt like hard floor falling

Yes, this ROM hack skips the signature process to create a new save and all magic seal drawings are automatic, just like in boss rush or Julius mode. You still need to collect them as keys for the boss doors though, so game progresses as normal.

Please Help me! I have the RG35XX and it’s literally my most favorite thing ever with Garlic OS. I want to buy the plus but it doesn’t have Garlic yet and I don’t care about DS or N64 games. I’m happy with SNES and before. The WiFi seems like something I would like and I already upgraded my back buttons so that’s not any better. Do I get the Plus? Or should I get a Miyoo mini Plus ? Also I like the gameboy colors, and I probably would get the same color again for the RG35XX Plus, which they basically look identical.

Maybe you might like the RG35XX-H? It has dual analog sticks and fits in your pocket very well. I run Batocera on mine. Batocera destroys GarlicOS in every way.

@@Cyko.. I got the RG35XX H in clear purple and I freakin love this thing! But mostly only after installing Batocera Lite v39 alpha. It has a couple bugs like battery drain but it’s so much better than garlic os and love the WiFi functionality for downloading album artwork scrapes and new themes!! Thanks for the recommendation.

@@justinreilly3107 That’s the same one I got! I recently updated it to the 20240306 build and noticed the battery drain as well. Hopefully that can be fixed. But I timed it and it went from taking 1 minute and 45 seconds to boot up to just 50 seconds now! Still needs to improve IMO, but it’s crazy how well Dreamcast works and Conker’s Bad Fur Day works great!
