The bass player is Perry Richardson - formerly of the band "Firehouse." And yes, Stryper 101% brings it with every song. They're one of the few "80's Metal Bands" - that produces great stuff - and one of the fewer that somehow got BETTER over the years - to this day. They're just as amazing live. See them when they come to San Diego (except the most recent show which I had to miss). Excellent reaction to their song, good sir.

I can’t believe Michael ‘s voice how powerful it sounds at his age and for anybody wondering about Michael sweets patch on his eye that’s because he had to have surgery on his eye something about his retina or something. It’s a shame I feel sorry for the guy he’s an awesome vocalist and guitarist.

One of their better ones for sure!

Fact check: Michael's high notes are NOT falsetto - it's his regular voice. He has somehow kept most of his range, but his voice now has some added richness to it. It doesn't sound quite so tinny. Michael has also stepped up big on his guitar playing, songwriting and album production. The addition of Perry on bass has added more style to the bass line while his voice blends very well with the group. The only one who has maybe lost a slight step is Oz, but that's going to happen when you're recovering from the health issues he's had. Hopefully he makes a FULL recovery and comes back better than ever. FWIW, I would rank Even the Devil Believes as their best album--even over their classics that I love. That album's production and songwriting are top notch, and there's some stylistic variety there without losing the band's unique sound.

I agree, except, I disagree that Oz lost a step.

Siempre increbles... no hay otra banda de la misma epoca que sea tan prolifica en producciones y en calidad, mejorando cada vez, superando a sus mejores epocas. Es totalmente epico. Una leyenda viviente Stryper!

Great song. Not only do they still rock, they easily rock harder now than they ever have. Perry Richardson (formerly of Firehouse) was a fantastic addition. It's like he breathed new energy into the band. He's great. One thing I have always loved about Stryper is that they have 2 world class guitarists. Michael considers himself a guitarists first and a vocalist second. The one two punch of him and Oz makes them one of the best guitar combos of any band of any genres in my humble opinion

Check out No More Hell to Pay through The Final Battle, five new albums, and I think it is their best work ever.

These guys are still incredible - and seem to be getting better. I think Michael is 59 or 60, and Robert is a couple years older. The new bassist is Perry Richardson (Firehouse) Definitely keep going on their new stuff - like "The Valley", "Blood From Above", "Yahweh", "Marching Into Battle".....

Michael and Oz always seem to split the solo and bounce off of eachother with it. It's a pretty unique style.
