lived in nyc all my life, skated/boarded most my life, mostly shortboard cruising, and I've had my eye on boosted boards since 2014 but i was 17 and broke at the time so it wasn't happening lol, now i can finally afford one and ordered a mini x around 2 weeks ago! i haven't received the board yet but i just ordered the Caguamas, zealous bearings, nose/tail guards and headlights! haven't ever been on a boosted so i'll leave the stock wheels and bearings on for a few days so i can compare once i switch them out, but thanks for the upgrades, appreciate the videos you've put up!

Tech We Want i just got the wheels in the mail, can't believe how much bigger they are then my shortboard wheels lol, im use to riding on 69mm wheels on my shortboard can wait to try the stock wheels and the caguamas! My board gets here in 4 days! I purposely didn't ride a boosted until i could get my own so i've never actually gotten to ride a boosted so im sure this ride will be considerably smoother than i'm use to even on the mini x without the suspension/flex of the bigger boosted boards

I work at a skateshop so I know all about this stuff and i tell you zealous bearings are good for the price but suck. get bones race reds instead. trust

The cheap hack to make the barings run faster, just put bones speed creem into the boosted bearings, and they cool fast, and if you wanna save battery life, just kick push off and shred

Great video for beginners. Ceramic bearings don't really make a noticeable difference on eboards and the big bearings are on eBay for about $4

honestly for the grip tape all you need is like a metal brush or like a shoe brush. just get it a little wet and scrub the grip tape and you're good :)

WISH YOU MENTIONED THAT THE ZEALOUS BEARINGS WON'T FIT THE REAR WHEELS BECAUSE OF THE DESIGN OF THE REAR ENGINE / PULLEY SET-UP. I NEARLY STRIPPED MY AXLE TRYING TO GET IT TO FIT THEN I REALIZED IN YOUR VIDEO YOU DID NOT INSTALL THEM IN THE REAR BUT FAILED TO MENTION IT. COMPLETELY POINTLESS UPGRADE.
