Can you apply acrylic nail tips with gel base coat in place of nail glue?

No the gel base coat will have the acrylic nails pop off after a while as it won’t completely cure “under” the acrylic nail tip. Best to use a gel nail tip instead and apply with gel glue.

How long thos style of nail keep? I'm new on nails and using ruber base more than acrylic but everywhere I hear that your tips will start breaking after a week

If your nails are really long and you do a lot with your hands they will get wear and tear. For rubber base gel hacks I would recommend short to medium lengths. That’s also why I add acrylic powder to my rubber base so it minimises the chance of me breaking them.

Nice video as always. Quick question, I understand that you can do a structured gel mani with the rubber base. But doing this with a full cover tip on along with the rubber base on top, do you find that the nails you created are extra heavy on your nails? Or do they feel light?

For me it was lighter than how my acrylic or Polygel nails felt. I felt like it was my nail and not so much an extended product if that makes sense. They definitely do not get in the way if my day to day and I like that about rubber base.

@@TiaBellaBeauty thanks so much because I am definitely going to try it now. Acrylic on top of a tip along with acrylic makes my actual nail feels heavy, if that makes sense. It’s a weird feeling. I have some rubber base coat that I have used with a half of a tip but not a full.
